Nathaniel Collins, captain of the Golden Horizon, seems to have everything a man could want, freedom to ride the seas, articles from His Majesty on hand, a new slave, and a great ship.

He has one thorn in his side, though, pirate captain Thomas Harrison of the Kestrel. Harrison is Collins’ former captain and they parted on less than amicable terms.

A high-action adventure loaded with vibrant, complex characters, Privateer’s Treasure gives as stark glimpse into the harsh lives of pirating privateers. Rival captains and ex-lovers are on a collision course with disaster, carving a fine line between love and hatred as they compete for trade, booty, and the passions of their new lovers. Normally, I don't like books that have bed-hopping, but I was completely caught up in this fascinatingly complex, passionate and deadly love triangle.
