Skip the first 150 pages or scroll through them.

And then start reading and enjoying. And see how these artists were paving the way for MTV, multi-media, facebook generation and lived according to Barthes "the author is dead".

Anyway, each picture is about another picture. (and there are some light references to the midst 70's music scene)

An informative (if artspeak-heavy) history of a fairly recent art movement that I had only cursorily been aware of. Yet after reading this catalog for the exhibition of the same name, the work feels incredibly influential when viewed today (for better or worse).
