Silly book. There are so many women..........twins,sisters, friends it's hard to keep track of who's who. But, they each get themselves into trouble while trying to help one of the twins, Elinore, who had an affair with the Vice President of the US. All the women's secrets come out. Most have to do with sex or men and the women's over active imaginations. Only one of them seemed to work so I think they all needed something more to be involved or interested in.
Semi-mystery ala Desparate Housewives with relationship between twin sisters at center. An old murder binds a group of friends who come together to aid one of the twins who is being blackmailed because of an affair with the Vice President. Preposterous plot carries story for a while but dullness soon sets in.
This was a fun, little read. I could see it being a funny Lifetime movie. Abby Drake's books always follow a group of women, who all have their own secrets to hide. In Perfect Little Ladies, the women are all coming together to aid Elinor who is being blackmailed for an affair she's having. As time goes on, all the women's secrets are brought to light and it takes a few twists and turns.

I liked it. I was surprised by some of the racy content. Doesn't mean I didn't like it, just was surprised. I was expecting 'perfect ladylike topics and language' :)
I enjoyed the read, didn't know where the story was going so that made it very interesting.
