Having already read the 1st 2 bks of this trilogy I wasn't really in any hurry to read this last one. You can read my review of Majyk By Accident here:

Page 133: "You lousy thickwit snot brained excuse for a wizard!" Through 3 books in this series, That description fit Kendar Gangle perfectly. I was beginning to despair that Kendar would never think for himself or apply his talents or just grow up. Finally, in the last few chapters of this book, he showed signs of intelligence. What a relief! Actually, this book was the best of the three because of all the action and the plot twists. I found myself tensely reading to see what happened next. All ...more

I love this one. Humorous fantasy at its best. I've yet to run into anybody else who's read it, though. Deserves more recognition.

Esther M. Friesner was educated at Vassar College, where she completed B.A's in both Spanish and Drama. She went to on to Yale University; within five years she was awarded an M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish. She taught Spanish at Yale for a number of years before going on to become a full-time author of fantasy and science fiction.
