This book completes the trilogy begun in A Silent Ocean Away and Decision and Destiny. In the first two, Charmaine Ryan was employed as governess to the Duvoisin children on the family's private island in the West Indies. It doesn't take long before she becomes involved in the family's secret past as well as being romantically drawn to Frederick's two sons - John the embittered legitimate son or Paul illegitimate but oh so devastatingly handsome and charming. ***************Spoilers!******************

If you haven't already read the first two books in this trilogy, A Silent Ocean Away and Decision and Destiny, I highly recommend them. This series has quickly become my favorite thus far.

We pick up after John DuVoisin has left the island of Charmantes on even worse terms with his father, Frederic, and half-brother, Paul, than before, leaving Charmaine and the children to wonder if he'll ever be back. Paul's courtship of Charmaine is resolved, and Frede...more

This trilogy was cut wrenching with its tragedies. I had to pause many times to catch my breath and wipe away the tears. That said the love story that twist through and ends it ,is well worth reading! I loved them!!

Love this trilogy. Could not put it down. I was reading the last book while out at a bar and I literally gasped, had to put it down and walk away for a minute. Totally addictive.

The last book in this fun 1100+ page trilogy or is it? Will ther be a Duvoisin Civil War Saga? I hope so...

Wow what a wonderful book! I hope this author(s) will write more books in the future!

A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. It had more plot/action than I was expecting, and I appreciated that the authors did not belabor the Charmaine / John / Paul courtship conflict. The loose ends are all tied up with abundant revelations, albeit indulgently.
Jenn
Captivating! Love the ending and can't wait for a sequel.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! This was the last book in the trilogy and it was fantastic! AND Everyone Lived Happily Ever After!! I am only sorry that the story has now ended. I truly hope that these 2 sisters (The Authors) have many more books in their future!

Forever Waiting was just as good as I expected it to be, and I was so happy to finally get my hands on it. I had waited for the release ever since I finished the second book in the series, and it was definitely worth the wait.

Sisters DeVa Gantt always manage to keep my attention throughout their novels, and they are definitely on my favorite lists. I hope they will continue writing together, as I am a huge fan.
