Although it is likely that regularly stretching one's mind protects against dementia in old age, the notion that motivated this collection of puzzles, I am quite certain that completing a single puzzle book will make a noticeable difference: thinking is a lifestyle, and not something to be done on occasion.

That said, I was pretty happy overall with the selection of puzzles in this volume. They are grouped into five levels of increasing difficulty. The first two levels are close to trivial for a
