R to L (Japanese Style). Prince Juda, Nakia's son, lies unconscious following a suicide attempt. It's established during interrogation before the council of ministers that Urhi is not the boy's father. Kail agrees with Nakia that this doesn't change Juda's eligibility for the throne. The fate of Urhi is then decided, but not by the council. Nakia, her schemes now seemingly ...more

Welcome to Book 26 where Nakia IS STILL SCHEMING.

This book is basically scheme scheme scheme. It get a bit repetitive so let's talk about the non-scheming okay?

- Kikkuri married both Ryui and Shala (they both dated him at the same time, but didn't bother to tell him that).
- Juda and Alexandra are set to be married because obviously every single last one of Kail's brothers need women who will boss them around until they do what they're supposed to.

i must say that i was really disappointed in this book. how can there be an entire volume and virtually nothing happens?! it really isn't hard to figure out, this happened all of the time in fushigi yugi. nakia escapes, kail discloses that yuri's clothes could be used to whisk her away to someplace else, not necessarily back to japan, urhi dies, juda has a potential new love interest (nevermind he is a widower and has like 3 concubines already), and nakia goes on a killing spree. yay... so with ...more

Yuri Ishtar is finally getting married to Crown Prince Kail. Queen Dowager Nakia has been removed as Tawananna and the Hittite Empire needs someone to fill the space immediately. As the wedding date approaches, danger approaches as well. Nakia has escaped the city and is in a different city by now. The troops search high and low to find her. But, since she can control them using magic water, they will have to be careful.

I think this is a great book even though it is rated for older teens. There

Nakia e Uruhi. Non so. Ormai non mi fanno né caldo, né freddo. La loro strana storia... Beh, avrei voluto dire alla

I found this series on a mere coincidence but it quickly became one of my all time favourites. I read the entire series in 1.5-2 days. It was truly wonderful and a joy to experience.
