Well, this was dull. The title basically says it all: it is indeed a collection of love letters (and poems, the inclusion of which feels like cheating/just filler). But there is zero context for any of these letters. I would've loved to hear even the briefest of back stories about the couples/unrequited lovers/whoever that served as the basis for each of these letters. Without this context, these people and their love fail to resonate, and the words lack passion and meaning. However, a sophomore ...more
