A worthy companion to the first book (The Fat Flush Plan). The author gives more information on vegetarian versions of detoxing, which is why I bought the book (had to wing it with the other one). She gives good research in the opening chapters, and offers some seasonal advice, some of which is very good.

Mostly a very practical book in that I believe in a lot of her "diet" plan. however some of the claims she makes are questionable and a few practices that she recommends (oil pulling, really?). There is a bit too much "selling" of her specially designed products that supposedly do all sorts of lovely, healthy things for you.

Ann Gittleman has a different set of foods you should eat for each season of the year. She has a number of different recipes in the back of the book to try. I tried the dried garbonzo beans and enjoyed them.
