I must say I absolutely loved 'Poems from the Heart' the simplicity of Marc's writing, from his 1st poem written into his daughters yearbook, his poems about his wife and children, grandchildren, parents and co-workers.
I also enjoyed not having to reach for my thesaurus to find out what any given word meant as Marc's simple approach writing style can be enjoyed from start to finish, his poetry is a look into this mans heart and the obvious love for his family, I felt privileged to b More...

What a wonderful and sweet book of poetry. I commend the writer for finding his motivation, his grandchildren, and writing so many beautiful words to show his emotions towards these precious little ones.
I love the little explanations the Author gives about the poems and thought it was cute of the Author to explain the one to his mother. :)

I won this book on Goodreads First reads. And, I enjoyed some of these poems very much. I am more in the in between rating and would give it a 3.5 stars if I could. Some of these poems to me personally have more of a hallmark feel. If I was the author I would send a few of these there and try to write greeting cards. We sure could use some good sayings in those cards.

In Poems from the Heart, Marc expresses his feelings of love towards his family especially his grandchildren.
I can't imagine how proud his grandchildren would feel when they grow up and read what their grandpa wrote about them.
What I enjoyed the most is Marc's commitment to quadrants and rhymes
