Kaci King has had a long journey in making sure her children ended up being healthy. First, her son Austin was diagnosed with Chiara, which meant his brain didn't have enough room to grow in. After two surgeries for this, he was later diagnosed with cranio, meaning part of his skull was prematurely fused, so his brain couldn't grow in properly. He had to have surgery for this as well. This book not only details the amazing medical journey of one family, it also educates people about two cranial/neurological conditions that most have never heard of. Great read...I had to keep reminding myself to put the book down and go to bed!
