Excellent reading! Real, sound advice for men, and a new perspective for women. (Why do women make things so difficult for their menfolk? Once again, I fail to understand my fellow XX-ers.) I particularly liked Dr. Parrott's frank, honest and laissez-vivre analysis of sex drive and masturbation. His insight on Hugh Hefner and the Playboy myth was also quite compelling. It wasn't really anything I haven't read or heard in other places but I think it makes a solid case for how a man can embrace that fact that he is a deeply sexual creature and created that way by God and at the same time learn how to function as such in an ethical and God honoring way.
Nothing terribly novel here. Nice light read with some simple reminders and a few sets of enlightening stats that I'm glad I read.
I'm not the intended audience for this book (Christian men), and there's nothing here I haven't heard before.
