Read many years ago with a different cover

which is pretty scary. I really remember the story The Three Marked Pennies by Mary Counselman, written when she was around 19!

I read this book in 1970 when I was a mere teenager and loved it. A few stories really scared me at the time, notably 'The Colour Out of Space' by H P Lovecraft and it was my first ever taste of Henry Kuttner who remains my favourite short story writer. I have since read it many times, and my copy is falling to bits but it is my all time favourite horror anthology
