Ah. This makes a bit more sense now. I read this out of order, and found it fishy that characters in the later books kept going to the pub from this book, given the ending of this story.

I was disappointed that I could not bring myself to finish this book, particularly since I enjoyed the earlier books in this series. I had a hard time relating to Kate, our rape victim who has closed herself off from the outside world due to the trauma of her past. Perhaps her no-no-no'ing dragged on a little too long for me, or maybe the theme of rape recovery is not something I was looking for in a romance novel. Regardless, I had to pass on this one.

She now knows married life can sizzle and romance can be 'erotic,' even in her own home.

Now her writing has taken on a spicier flavor, and while hubby's off at work, she lets her imagination soar…
