This book outlines poison darts frogs in a quick and easy way. With big text and beautiful imagery it will be entertaining for a child. The information is scaled down to a child's level without being condescending. It is easy to read and every page provide a small easy to remember fact about the frogs. Also it has a "vocabulary"-page and the words on that page is marked through out the book by writing them in bold text.

A neat, fun little read.

The photographs are nice and the facts are interesting about poison dart frogs. The book describes the life cycle and habitat of poison dart frogs. It also gives other interesting facts about the frogs. This is a wonderful resource for elementary school and middle school children. However, I would not recommend it for five year olds as mine was not overly interested in it. The age range stated for this book in my opinion would be better suited for those 7 and up.
