This was a really good lecture series about the stars. I would have given it five stars for myself only because I had enough background knowledge to get a lot out of it. However, I am only giving it four because a person just coming in at the ground floor will be a bit overwhelmed and the lack of diagrams which do not accompany the audio lecture might be lost. Dr. Kaler is a folksy professor who has a passion for the sky and stars and wants to share that with the reader. If you are an astronomy buff or just someone who enjoys looking up at night, then this lecture series is for you. While it is detailed and I am not an astronomer, I learned something new in every lecture. Foreign terms made clear.
