Olivia Lockhart-Griffin
Cedar Cove, Washington

Dear Listener,

I'm sorry to say that our good sheriff, Troy Davis, has suffered a disappointment in love. He was hoping to marry his onetime girlfriend, Faith Beckwith, who recently moved back to town. Well, the latest is that Faith ended the relationship last month, even though both of them are widowed and available. According t

I have read all the books in this series and they are getting increasingly annoying. I loved Macomber's Blossom Street series and I fear she used all her actual talent on those books because the Cedar Cove series is just a mess.

First, there were a few mistakes such as referring to Grace as Grace Sherman and then switching back to Grace Harding. That was something the editor should have caught. But here are the things that are really annoying:

1. This book is supposed to focus on Troy and Faith, b

When I want something light and happy, I love to read Debbie Macomber books and this one didn't disappoint. This is a great series ... whatever will we do when Cedar Cove runs out of addresses? I feel like all the residents are my friends.

In this book we return to Cedar Cove and pick up where 8 Sandpiper Way and A Cedar Cove Christmas left off. Sheriff Troy Davis is lamenting the fact he let his first love go for the second time. Faith Beckwith may still love Troy, but he let her go and she has no intention of giving him another chance.

This is supposed to be a story about Faith and Troy, but it seems that all the other characters from Cedar Cove take over the story. Olivia, Grace, and Charlotte of course play a part i

I don't usually say this about Macomber's books that belong to a series, but this is one that you need to have already been invested in all the storylines to read and get the most out of it. Most of the relationships in this novel had begun in the previous novel, 8 Sandpiper Way. That is usually the case in the Cedar Cove books- as one novel follows the next- but it had been awhile since I read the previous one, and I found myself racking my brain to remember what had happened to the character's ...more

Weather you are a new reader or an old fan of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series, you will not be disapointed in this new addition. Established fans will visit with old familiar friends while getting to know new neighbors. However if you are new to the series, don't worry, Debbie Macombers writing style will allow you to get to know each character's back story enought to get you caught up on thier lives without boring established series readers.

Althought this book has been designated a mystery,

I love to read Debbie Macomber's books because I always come away feeling a bit more positive about life and people in general. This book is her latest in the Cedar Cove series. The fictional town of Cedar Cove is based on her own town and at the end of August they hosted Cedar Cove Days and from what I've read it sounds like it was a big success (I did not attend the event).

This series started 9 years ago and she releases a new installment at the end of the summer each year. The number at the b

92 Pacific Boulevard is where Sheriff Troy Davis lives. His wife had passed away a little over a year ago. His daughter, Megan, is married and now expecting her first child after a miscarriage. Troy has become reacquainted with his high school sweetheart, Faith Beckwith, and has started dating her. Recently Faith's home has been vandalized and many more attempts to break in. At first it seemed personal, according to Troy. But lately he suspects not so personal to Faith but in another way. Troy d ...more

I just love this series!! I love revisiting all the characters and their lives!! It's gonna be hard to wait until Sept. 2010 to read the next one.
This book tells us what happened with Troy & Faith, Christie & James and the others. The author did introduce new characters & we'll have to see how those end up in the next book. I don't know Debbie will 'wrap it up' in the next one(I heard that will be the last one in the series)but who knows, the author might entice her to add to the ser

As much as I want to, I can't stop read these books. I think I'll just read one more to see what happens. They are so scripted and predictable. Everything always turns out "nice" so that is comforting to know the angst ridden sweethearts will get together in the end. Reading these books clear my mind in between my other summer reads.

I love this series. Each of the books deals with everyday struggles that we all can find some kinship in. The town of Cedar Cove and its inhabitants feels like a community that I for one wished I lived in. The struggle that Olivia has had to deal with fighting Cancer and how she deals as well as how it has affected her friends. Old flames and new. There just seems to be a warmth to the story that draws the reader in.

Another sweet novel from Debbie Macomber. I really enjoyed this novel. It appears to be a part of a series so I am reading them out of order. It is nice that it isn't too obviously part of a series when you are reading it. A cast of characters that take care of each and love each other in many different ways. I love the strong character building done in these novels. They feel like someone you could know.

When I first started this series I met the whole town and there stories all in the first book. I didn't like this series early on because too much was going on. Now that I'm familiar with the characters and their stories the books are a much easier read.

I really enjoyed this installment to the cedar cove series. The main character was Troy Davis and it focused on his relationship with Faith Beckwith. The main mystery of this story was the break ins at Faith's house she is renting on 204 Rosewood Lane. The other mystery was the body found by two teenagers. Troy Davis was trying to identify the body. Another character of interest in this book was Mary Jo Wyse and Mac Macafee and we see their relationship grow and change. Also Mary Jo's brother Li ...more

I love Debbie Macomber's books, all of them. I have read dozens of her books & will continue to read them. I have given every book 4 or 5 star ratings. This is the first book I am giving only a 3-star rating. I was surprisingly disappointed in this book, especially since it is part of a series I love. This is the 9th book in the Cedar Cove series, a wonderful series about the people in a town called, obviously enough, Cedar Cove, in Washington State.

Typically, the books in this series are ri

There 12 books in The Cedar Cove Series. Each address belongs to one character or couple and the main story or mystery revolves around him, her or them while all the other characters continue to make an appearance and continue forward with their lives. From when the series began most of the characters are the same although their lives have changed. This book deals with Sheriff Troy Davis and Faith Beckwith who was his first love but due to circumstances they ended up happily married to other peo

Another book in the series that was very interesting. Everything in Cedar Cove looks to be well but their are some circumstances that are strange in this small community.

Sheriff Troy Davis messed up the opportunity he had with Faith, his high school sweetheart and now he's trying to make amends to capture her heart once again. Faith has her own issues. Someone keeps vandalizing her home & car. Why?

Olivia is still recovering from her medical treatments and the community is standing behind her

92 Pacific Boulevard is the 9th full length novel in the Cedar Cove series by popular American author, Debbie Macomber. Fans will welcome another instalment in the lives of favourite Cedar Cove characters. I enjoyed this book, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite of the whole bunch. Troy & Faith leave me a little cold. I think it's sweet that high school sweethearts get back together all these years later, but the whole build up on this relationship just frustrated me. I was happy Megan befriended Faith though.

I love, love, love Mack & Mary Jo's relationship & can hardly wait to get to their HEA.

Two things. One, I've not read them in order. Two, I listened to this one on audio.

About four discs in, I realized that Cedar Cove is a bit like a soap opera, with story lines stopping in and dropping out quite often. There were two I cared about: Troy - I wanted to know who was trashing Faith's house. Hmm, Troy again, I wanted to know who the body was. I cared about a few of the others, but some - like Linc and then Gloria had so little development that I didn't care. Plus, Linc kept saying he
