Um... yet again the cover and other vampire novels
Ok. Ok. Well I fell in love with this series after the first page!!! And I was like OMG!!! So this book gos down as my 2 favorite book in the entire universe!!! Can't wait for the fourth book to come out!
This is the box set of book 1 to 3.
I already had the non-box-set book, but my friend, Angelic_zaizai offered me the box set, and i can't help my self to refuse her offer.
I was falling in love with Vampire Academy since i read the first book, because the idea of the story was so different with the Other-Popular-Vampire books.
I mean, the main character is still 17 years old school girl like Bella and Zoey, yes... but Rose has a very strong character. She's smart, has good sense of humor, stubborn...more

Whoa, these books...
I read the first page & I instantly knew I'd like it. That doesn't happen to me much. I'd forgotten how you can get so involved in a book that it becomes merged with everyday life, do you know what I mean?
I remember reading Frostbite in the freezing cold (hehe) waiting for the kids I was babysitting to get to sleep. I think Rose was at a spa, & I think I just simply forgot the cold, feeling like I was at a spa, too. Is that weird?

This series had to be one of the best I have EVER read. There are six to the full set, and I loved them all! Completed under two weeks, they are that good.
If you love vampires, and you love to be able to connect with the characters, feel what the characters feel, then this series is PERFECT for you.
Lissa and Rose have to be the best people ever, you get so much from them. Their romances with the men they love just make you feel as though you could be part of it all!

1st one- I was additcted as soon as they went threw her time table. Loved it so much.
2nd one- Loveddd!! Free snow trip to a five star resort, perfect setting!
3rd one- Amazing, Rose and Dimitri <3 I never cry in books, But after i finished this one, i went on youtube and watched a fan made trailor, it had hero by enrique englais(dnt know how to spell) and i balled my eyes out at the thought of having to wait for spirt bound.

Vampire Academy
I loved this book because it involves love, vampires, and Dhampirs. Dhampirs are half human and half vampire. Somebody is trying to get to Lizza. Many plots go on the story. One girl Mia tries to sabotage Lizza and Rose. Lizza and Rose get Mia back and Mia becomes absolutely nothing. Natalie befriends Lizza and later betrays her. Dmitri trains Rose to become a guardian. Later it is revealed that when Lizza gets older Dmitri and Rose will be her guardian. Many plots are uncovered....more

Okay I'm done with the series but I cant find the third book Shadow Kiss. But it's still awesome and I like it alot. But the ending is twisted and I cried so, so hard but that does NOT mean it's not good. and I'm so excited for the forth book to come out "Blood Promise" I'm so excited!!!!!
I loved this entire series more than i have another. I decided to read the first book because i thought it looked interesting. I started reading and got trapped in the story line. I never wanted to put it down. I love how the story plays out and how Rose is such a smart ass but you cant help to like her. She is strong and independent and you know she would truly lay her life down for Lissa. The way her and Dimitri play off each other is amazing and i love their story. Ok - I'm going to start this by telling everyone that I was a vampire freak BEFORE they became cool, so when Kari gave me these books, I knew I would read them first. I really like the series. They are a quick read, as it's young adult fiction (although I definitely wouldn't want my middle schooler reading them). I liked the way the main character, Rose, matured and became less impulsive. I loved that she was very strong and confident. The language wasn't so bad as I feared, but there a few "F"...more

Actually going to have to reread these I loved them I read quite awhile ago and was waiting for the 4th one to come out on paperback(this was all before I had the nook so no more waiting until new in series comes out on paperback yippeee!!!) It's got a great love story and it has a different take on Vampires I loved it could not put it down but it has been at least a year or more since I read the last one so Im am looking forward to rereading them again!! The books were FANTASTIC!!! So many turns and twists. Romance, heartbreak, fighting, death and deception. The books had you crying with and for the characters, rooting and booing for them, laughing and shaking your head. But just when you thought one way, something jumped out and changed things. I can't wait for the final book December 7, 2010. I don't want to give away anything here about the books other then how great I found them to be.
Just finished reading this series on a recommendation and I've got to say i was really surprised and i thoroughly enjoyed it! there are many vampire books around at the minute and this isn't as well known as the twilight series for example but this series was much more interesting then the others. sometimes i thought the writing was a little simplistic but it didn't stop me from reading each book in one sitting! fantastic
i couldnt put any of these books down and have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for number 5 to come out later this year. Rose (the main character) is a strong, out spoken, rebellious and wild personality, you just cant help but love her....

So vampires.... Yeah that pretty much covers it. I liked the series there's lots of action and tension throughout them and even forbidden love but the whole Rose/Lissa thing bothered me. I found Lissa to be very annoying. I just hope CW doesn't try to make it into a television series...ugh
You would think the stories are for teenagers,but no.Remarkably brought to life,characters,although vampires,shows us the ways of true love,honor,friendship and sacrifice.I,personally enjoyed every single part of the story and read all of them in a breathe,as some would say.
Well....this, my friend, is amazingness in a box. The third book is definetely the one that got me reading the whole series so if you read the first 2 books and you arent sure if you want to continue the series, DEFINETELY read the 3rd one!!!! :)

What a box set. This box set is totally worth the price. I absolutely love this series. If your a fan of YA, you'll love this series for sure. It's amazing. This isn't just another Twilight. Its even more mature and more attention holding than Twilight. I liked Twilight, but this is in a different category. This series has action, romance, twists and traders. I loved it more book one, and ever sine I couldn't stop. I cannot wait for Spirit Bound in May. It's going to be an amazing book. Richelle...more
I didn't expect much when I started reading these but turned out really loving the seris. It's super refreshing to read a vampire book that's different and new and actually has a plot.
could not put them down.At first I though that I really was not going to like these book that they might be a little to young for me..BUT I ws wrong I got into them right away..
Don't read this if you don't want to get emotionally involved. She really does a great job of developing characters and making you care about them.

I love these books and this series. It's just so amazingly good and anyone who hasn't read them is missing out big time.
This series is like... the awesome-est ever! I love reading about Rose and Lissa and everyone else at Vampire Academy!
I loved these books the 1st time I read them and every time since! Can not wait for the movies to come out.
It was a fun, light read. The storyline is tolerable, as are the characters. I would give it 3.5 stars.
Okay! I loved this set of books, Richelle Mead is an awesome writer. It is worth it to read it twice!
