Recommends it for: someone who cares more about the story than the way it is written
Recommended to Brooklyn by: I'm a fan of the TV show

As they say in the streets:
I Can't Go.
I tried; I mean: I really tried, but I can't get through this mess. The Author House logo might have given it away for some, but I've entered writing contests that were won by Author House books, so never let how a book gets published be a barometer of its quality. Having said that, Neffe has enough backing and enough star power to be able to research the best publishing methods for herself, and maybe she didn't.

Neffe had an editor and a ghostwriter. Now I
Real life situtations, but really hard to get into this book.

I gave Neffe 5 stars because she really did very well for her first book. Being from the same streets really helped I totally get where she was coming from telling this story. I also think that you have to read this book with a open mind and heart. You can't really read this book and judge her for several things like spelling or just how hood Neffe is she didn't leave nothing out and it's her realness that I felt while reading this book. I enjoyed her work and I will be ready and buying everythi ...more

this book is a goddamnn shame. I can not believe she was treated like this. such a broken soul. she is so beautiful too and that's the sad part. I feel for her so badly. the only one who got a decent deal is Keyshia Cole.

This book was about Keshia Coles sister and her life. She went threw so much. From pregnecy to not having her mother around to being raped. This lady has been threw it all. But in her life even tho she only had her grandmother that she couldn't stand she always kept her head up.

I liked this book because it was real life. She wrote it her self and talked about her life and i support her sister music so it was great.

What i learned from this book is many words .! I also learned to move foward and face any of my problems. This book it good for people my race and age. Even older because she expresses her feelings between her life now and her past life and what she is doin to improve the things she has.
