I loved the great photos of so many snakes in this book. The whole series of beautiful ring-necked snakes I had never heard of or seen before.

The Puget Sound garter snake is the garter snake I am most familiar with from my youthful days in the Tacoma area.

Love the descriptions and photos of all those rattlers.

Very useful for snake identification--if you catch more than a quick glimpse of these elusive critters!
