I just Loved, loved this book.

I have never read erotic fiction quite like this! This felt Luke a guilty pleasure. it's written strictly from the alien's POV, which in many works-- because he doesn't understand Pani's words, you get an interesting perspective of how he is interpreting the situation. Even lacking Pani's view point, I didn't fail to gather what SHE must have feeling. Edited: I changed my rating. I almost never do that. However after finishing the series I have a completely different take on this novel. Reading Pets 3: Bebe I can say I got it now. i downloaded this to read as I had been reading the Twific Story 'Across the Universe' on The Writers Coffee Shop. It was removed because it turned out to be a plagiarism of this book and its companion volume Pani's Story.

It contains controversial themes that I am not really comfortable with but at the same time brings up many issues that need to be explored. I think I am probably an untypical reader as I imagine most readers are in it for the kink.

The story just didn't seem to unfold in an interesting manner. I never really got why I should care about the characters or why they cared about each other. It felt like I was being told a "guess you had to be there" story. While it seems as if the next book should draw it all together I'm not spending another $6.50 for something that should have been included for a complete experience.

This is a great story about a woman who is abducted by aliens and basically treated like a wild animal and eventually a sex toy for her Master. This definitly has age play aspects and harsh punishments. But boy is it a fun to read how the two main characters interact and eventually have feelings for each other other than Master/Pet.

Sometimes a bit more toward the aggressive side of BDSM than I'm used to, this is none the less a novel I enjoyed reading. Bach isn't human and his form is much larger, his strength much more than ours, and yet he doesn't abuse Pani in any unbearable way. The relationship is definitely forced at first but gradually it becomes more of a mutual-pleasure experience for them both.
By the end there is a very definite relationship-trade between them [Bach still doesn't consider Pani an equal, but then More...
