This book was required reading for a grad class I just finished in Art Education. The content is straight forward and engaged me as if I were having a real time discussion with the author, Laura Chapman. The sad fact is that the content of this book is entirely relevant today ... just as it was when it was written in the 1980's. Progress and change ... mighty slow.
