Recommends it for: beginning readers and parents reading with them
This is a fun mystery for kids with a Thanksgiving theme. The story is entertaining and not too scary. And the ending is sweet, too. The illustrations have an older feel to them, which makes sense as this book was originally published over 30 years ago. We enjoyed reading this story together.
