This book is very well written. I enjoyed learning more about the Plains Native Americans and their relationship with missionaries. The Native Americans resent the white people and a large group of them rebell. It is a great historical adventure that I found myself reading it through the whole night! I would have rated it with 5 stars if I could have written the ending.
This is the story of a half-Indian half-French girl named Gen who leaves her father to learn at a missionary school. She grows accustomed to their ways and learns many things. But as she later prays, she wants the facts to move from her head to her heart.
