Recommends it for: crocheters and knitters of ALL skill levels
One of the most abundant stitch guides I have ever seen! Organized into two sections... knitting and crochet and then further organized into subcategories. Each stitch has a photograph along with characteristics such as skill level and drape. Suggestions for yarn, what to use pieces for (shawl vs. clothing vs. blanket vs. accents vs. tablecloths etc.) are also included.

Recommends it for: anyone interested in knitting and crocheting, who does either/both and wants to learn new stitches
Shelves: crochet
After more than 30 years of crocheting, I only knew a few stitches. I learned several new stitches while reading this book. I used one of them to make a cute purse for my daughter.
