Recommends it for: Baseball fans, but NOT those looking for year-in-the-life books

As a fan of year-in-the-life sports books such as the seminal "A Season on the Brink," about U. of Indiana basketball, or the superior "Life on the Rim" (Albany Patroons basketball) and "On the Road" (Toronto Maple Leafs hockey), I went into this book with reasonably high expectations. Recommends it for: Cubs fans (not that I know any)
Any book with a chapter on Rich Harden and a nowhere-else-published home photo of the boy gets 4 stars in my book. (I had to take away a star for the Canadian being limited to just one chapter. Also, I'm a Cards fan)
