I am having a really hard time rating this book. I have up til now liked the Ferals. I am not one for public sex...not sex in a public place (elevator, bathroom, etc) but sex 2 feet from others, while they watch. Not unless it's an erotic story. This is paranormal romance, and I was surprised in the first book that the heroine had to have sex with her male while the other Ferals all touched her. Then in the second, the same thing, but here, in the third The hero has been tortured and ...more

I liked this book, I really did. I liked Paenther and Skye and their romance was sweet and hot. But the names kept tripping me up. I kept thinking I was reading a paranormal romance starring the Thundercats. Ho!
I have really enjoyed this series. Here's my breakdown:

The pros:
* The hero and heroine had such great chemistry - I truly felt their connection and appreciated it not feeling like insta-love
* Smoking hot sex and passion!
* A fast paced plot

The cons:
* I tired of everyone constantly being suspicious the heroine - Paenther continually compared her to Ancreta (a witch from his past that had hurt him.) All of the other Feral Warriors were just as bad with Skye. Not only did they doubt her, but they we

Passion Untamed had everything wrong I’ve come to expect from this series.

- Horrible covers: It’s so clear he’s wearing a wig! And that pose! I imagining he’s saying…"Boo!"

- Hero (or heroine) kidnaps the heroine (or hero): Another kidnapping! How swell! In this case though, the heroine is the one that grabs the hero and keeps him against his will. This was the worst kidnapping of them all because the guy was in chains and raped to boot (when a man says ‘no’, it’s NO, even if he has

This one really hits all the emotional cords. Skye's enthrallment of Paenther brings back memories of the first time he is capture by a witch and what she does to him causes a rift between him and Skye for most of the book. Even when he starts to fall for her after escaping their imprisonment, Paenther has a difficult time fulling trusting her because of what she is. To me Skye was more the victim here. She was taken away by the evil Mage Birik when she was just 8 years old because of her strong ...more

“Rapture Untamed” by Pamela Palmer: The human world could never understand who and what lives among them, if they did…Goddess help them!

Ferals can shape-shift into animals, whether it be big cats, an eagle, wolf or snake to protect the human race from the Mage, Draden and Daemons—beings that are hell-bent on destroying the humans and Ferals.

Jag (Jaguar) the bad-ass Feral who never has a kind word for anyone, finds joy in annoying Olivia, a Draden-kissed woman. More than beauty, she possesses ver

This series needs to be read in order. Paenther was kidnapped in the previous book. The author does a little rehashing to let the readers know how Paenther ended up the Mage’s prisoner, but there is more detail in Obsession Untamed. Paenther loathes the entire Mage race, with good reason. He and another Feral was once held prisoner by one. This Mage tortured him and two of his fellow warriors. He had two very simple goals then, escape and vengeance, now he has those same goals again. He is stil ...more

This, the third of the Feral Warriors series, has sexy 6'6" tall warrior shapeshifters, mages, an archsorcerer, daemon wraiths, an unwanted attraction, a loss and love found - everything a good paranormal romance could need.

Paenther takes the lead this time when he is captured by a mage witch again - much to his chagrin - he's gotta stop letting little paenther lead him around. She's the enemy but she somehow eases the rage he's lived with for about 300 years.

Skye, the heroine, is a young mage w

This is the third installment of the Feral Warriors series and it doesn't disappoint at all.

We meet BP and Skye. BP being the black panther shifter and feral warrior and Skye being a mage enchantress.

This book provided real insight to the mage world and dark power they are using and how they are able to source it. We learn more about the second in command of the feral warriors and learn why he is second in command with his never leave a man behind attitude.

Skye and BP are constantly drawn tog

As book 3 in this Feral Warriors series, I enjoyed it so much more than book 2 (only problem I had in book 2 was the gory stuff against humans, was too much violence). This book really gave more history in different ways to the Feral Warriors and the Mages and what their history. Skye and Paenther's story. Skye was so refreshing in her demeanor and how she looked at life. The trauma she went through and still did, made her stronger without making her look like she's super 'human' (mage) than som ...more

Stayed up way too late to finish this book, and I can't regret the morning after headache I have thanks to Ms. Palmer. I know paranormals are the big thing right now, but take the time to read this series. It's different, vibrant, and the characters are believable. There is no sudden, I love you, moment. There is real struggle not to accept the feelings, but to learn to live with them in a dangerous and changing world. If you don't feel Paenther's pain and Skye's loneliness then check your pulse ...more

I must say that author Pamela Palmer has truly hit her stride in this third book in her Feral Warriors series. Passion Untamed is Paenther’s story and picks up after he was enthralled by the Mage at the market in Obsession Untamed. His capture brings back memories of being enthralled hundreds of years ago by another Mage. He was held and tortured for months until he was able to escape with help from Vhyper, who had also been taken.

His feelings for Skye become complicated because it’s difficult not to associate Skye with his past based upon what she is: the Mage that

I have to say, first thing, that this is my favorite of the series so far. Author Pamela Palmer brought everything to this book. Sex, romance, suspense, drama, witty dialogue, and a great plot are just a few things you will find within the pages of the third installment in the Feral Warriors series.

We start with Paenther being imprisoned in a cave. He comes face to face with the Mage witch that tricked him and captured him. Paenther has a past with Mage witches and can't stand them. His hatred f
I loved this book SO much that I actually reread the entire thing immediately after finishing it. The love between Paenther and Skye is beautiful. Paenther is so incredibly good and protective and noble. He is an amazing hero. Skye, having suffered decades of torment, managed to maintain her inner goodness and was willing to sacrifice herself for Paenther, the Ferals and all people, if that's what it took. Plus, she loves animals, and that is right up my alley!!

I truly loved each and every momen

Easily the best of the series. I really liked Panthaer. I wavered on the heroine from time to time. But then again, I often do. She was well done for an abused heroine. She didn't get miraculously strong and break character. The others didn't treat her with superb reverence for all she'd suffered through. All good as far as I'm concerned.

The book got messy and threw some surprises. It wasn't cut and dried. A nice, fun, refreshing read. I like that the guys don't all get along all the time. The

Although I still enjoy this series, and will happily read the next installment, this book fell a bit south for me. I had a hard time loving kidnap/rape and then fall in love with you scenarios, because they need to be written with finesse as the love story is patiently woven together. I think the romance here was not given enough time to cultivate a deep believable bond. Although as readers we all take a leap off the reality cliff to enjoy paranormal romance, there are pieces of every story that ...more

I have a really annoying habit to read 1 and 2 star reviews when Im looking for a book and I did that with this book. I noticed several comments about rape but I did not give it much thought- usually people who scream that there is a rape scene in the book mean that there is a scene where a girl hates (but secretly drools over) a guy, guy runs after the girl, catches her. Girl says no, guy says yes, girl says no again, maybe even pushes the guy away, the guy says something along the lines "I kno ...more

Like the last book, I had trouble getting through the first five chapters or so but after that I really enjoyed the book. I am not sure why I am having trouble with the beginnings of these books. I don't know if they are just too slow or that it's sloppy starts or what. It feels like the author knows what she wants to do with the book, knows where she wants it to go but has trouble getting it started. The rest of the book makes up for it but that doesn't negate the issues at the beginning.

This is officially the very first book this year that I stopped reading. :o( I just did not ENJOY reading this. The hero had real potential, but the heroine was a miserable excuse for one. The author made her do really inexcusable things to the hero at the beginning, and then had to "justify" why she did what she did by making her SO victimized, it just rang so false to me. I found the book depressing and not at all sexually exciting. Bleh. Didn't like this at all.
I honestly think I enjoyed Passion Untamed, Feral Warriors #3 more upon my re-read, but since I didn't review it the first time, I'm not sure. I just know that I loved Paenther and Skye together and their backgrounds made for a very interesting read. I also enjoyed the extended world building with Skye's Mage heritage and how it factored into Paenther's history.

I've gotten to a point where I'm actually enjoying Rob Shapiro's narration, so that's a huge plus. He's either getting better with each
I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Paenther was just the right amount of tortured bad boy for my liking. I loved the way he was drawn to Skye even though she should be his enemy. The two of them fit really well together and I loved how their relationship influenced the changes. I've already started Jag's book!

Passion Untamed Passion Untamed is the story of forbidden love between Paenther, an Therian who shifts into a black panther, and Skye, a Mage witch. Therians and Mage are enemies, and when Skye enthralls and captures Paenther under orders of the Mage high sorcerer, Birik, the hatred is destined to continue. As Paenther slowly comes to the realization that Skye is as much a prisoner of Birik, he looks past his hatred of the Mage and discovers a sweet woman and a pure soul on Skye.

This is the third book in the Feral Warriors series. It is also the hardest and darkest so far. This story is full of torture, rape and death. Once you get through the darkness in the first part of the book, the story does lighten up, so it is not all despair. It is worth going through the hard parts to get to the good parts at the end, and even makes the romance better in the long run.
