I absolutely adored Adopted Jane by this author and I was thrilled to have the chance to read another of her works. I didn't fall in love with this story in the same way, but there was definitely a lot to like here, and Daringer did a good job with a sanitized version of the mid-1600s. I'm going to have to seek out the rest of Daringer's books.
