Out of Sight, Out of Mind is a nice read. It's not too light and cute, but it isn't extremely intense and detailed either. Amanda is the Queen of Mean at Meadowbrook Middle School. She is the most popular, snobby girl around for miles, and she makes use of it to her biggest advantage. I was a little annoyed at Amanda, since she was always acting so snobbish, even though she had a reason to be. I see what the authors trying to do, but I can't help but to be irritated with Amanda sometimes. Tracy is your typical shy girl... who dresses horribly. This book is release for a long time now and I've been waiting for it to be available in my library. When I finally got it I was really excited to read it.
I usually don't read books for such young characters because I can't set my mind the right way to like the story. But this book I loved.
You don't think about how old the characters were. You just keep on reading more about the drama that is Amanda's live.

So this book was laying around my house and I decided to pick it up and I'm glad I did. It took me back to those middle school days where it was all about appearances and finding one's "place" socially. I liked the premise, a school that has a gifted class were the "misfits" were gathered because they all had something that made them different, that had nothing to do with what they wore or who they hung out with. I read Gifted by Marilyn Kaye. This was an amazing book with a shocking twist. I would truly recomened this book to evveryone. Each student has there own gift that some like while others don't.
