I just recently finished Kate Brian's novel, Untouchable. It ended with an email from Taylor Bell, who just recently fled campus without a word. The Billing's girls' explanation of her leaving was that she was under to much pressure and she needed some time off. Reed couldn't believe it; literally. The email stated that Reed shouldn't listen to what the other girls are telling about herself and that it is all lies. It then went on into the nest book, which I am currently read now called Confessi More...

"Confessions" continues immediately from where "Untouchable" finished off, with Josh Hollis being arrested for Thomas' death. Reed finds herself confused, she doesn't know whether to believe in Josh's innocence especially after the scandalous story that the Billings Girls has told her about her new boyfriend. Does she try and find evidence of his innocence or can she now rest knowing that the murderer is now in custody?

Then there are the Billings Girls who were qui More...

Reed Brennan in this book is finally getting over her dead ex-boyfriend Thomas when she discovers that her new boyfriend Josh is the number one suspect in the murder case.
In the beginning of the book, I was annoyed with Reed’s attitude. I understand that she has gone through a traumatic event, but I felt like she overreacted to the situation. If it had been me, I would have instantly determined to prove his innocence. Instead, Reed just closes herself off from the outside world and refuse More...

Jumping back from Book #9 in the last review , is today's Book #4 Confessions. In Book #4 we are seeing the recent aftermaths of Thomas Pearson's body being recovered and Reed Brennan in a confused state as her first boyfriend is Dead . What a year, it has been for Reed at Easton Academy with getting into the Billings House, dating one of the popular guys and having great friends -some you can trust and others by the sounds of it not so much. In Confessions, we see Reed's friend Josh Hollis also More...

So glad that I borrowed this book at the same time as I did Untouchable, number three of the Private series. I started to read this book as soon as I wrote the review for that one, and I was, again, hooked when I read the first sentence.

Reed Brennan finds out that life isn’t always picture perfect. She finds herself working together with Blake, boyfriend of Noelle, to find out the truth what really happened to Thomas. They both know that Josh isn’t the murderer, but how can they sav More...

Once Josh Hollis, Reed's boyfriend is arrested for the murder of Thomas Pearson, Reed's dead boyfriend, everyone at Easton goes back to normal because they all know who the murderer is--except for Reed. She is unconvinced that Josh was not the murderer, which means that the killer is still out there. Reed will do anything to stop him... or her?

Reed’s boyfriend Josh is still in jail for the death of his roommate Thomas. But Reed is bound and determined to prove the police wrong. She finds there are two people who can give an alibi for Josh, but to do so, they must make their affair public knowledge… something neither are willing to do.

It ends up though that this relationship may not be the juiciest drama at Easton when Reed finally learns who killed her fling Thomas.

There’s also drama building in the Billings ho More...

Of all the teen books I've read, I've liked many, but only three series have held me in thrall: Gossip Girl, The Princess Diaries, and the Private series. (Actually, you can make it four because I just read the first of the Pretty Little Liars series which reminds me of this series.)

In the Private series, girls at Easton are not only insanely rich, privileged, and catty like the characters in many other books. These girls hide secrets, not just dirty secrets, but shocking secrets. More...

HOLY CRAP. What the heck. I knew who the killer was from the very beginning (ive read privileged and last christmas already) AND UGH!!!!!!!!! ive never wanted to strangle a fictional character anymore in my life. I went from loving Ariana in the Spin off series to wanting to strangle her. Wow wow wow, so much happened here. Literally my heart beated so fast during some parts. Note to some , even though the identity of the killer will be spoiled i strongly suggest you read last christmas before s More...

I think this is the best in the Private series: a lot of loose ends have been tied up quite nicely, true identities revealed, veneer of glamour stripped away; we're finally down to the nitty-gritty side of Easton Academy.

Reed is eventually able to prove that her boyfriend is innocent and he is released but that means that the real killer is still out there somewhere. Eventually piece by piece she is able to figure out who killed her old boyfriend but in the process she almost gets killed herself.

Oooooh! THIS IS THE BEST ONE IN THE SERIES. Just when you think you have everyone in Billings figured out, you get a major reality check. Everything changes in this book and you learn so much about the characters in it. There's a reason it's called confessions.

"Confessions" by Kate Brain is a very good book. This book continues from the other books in the series. In this book Reed has fun with her new boyfriend Josh however,in the end her friends turn him in for the murder of Thomas Pearson, Reed's old boyfiend. Reed and Dash try to get Josh out of jail because they know he didn't murder Thomas. They have to break into the school during the night and send Thomas' brother an email because he was at the school the night Thomas was murde More...

Confessions continues Reed Brennan’s story of her time at Easton Academy.
In the previous book, Reed’s boyfriend Josh is arrested for the murder of Reed’s ex-boyfriend Thomas. Reed KNOWS that Josh could not possibly guilty, and will do whatever it takes to find out who really committed the crime. When Reed finally figures it out in a deadly showdown, all hell breaks loose.

In this book Thomas is dead and her new boyfriend Josh, is in jail. He was accused of killing Thomas, but he said he didn’t do it.

I can make a text-to-self connection with Josh. We both have some difficulties with choosing our friends. So he was not very happy with Reed’s friend choosing and he got upset. Usually I need to keep my feeling inside of me unlike Josh. But we both care a lot about our friends.

I would give this book 5 stars because this book has everything I li More...

Reed Brennan's stint at posh Easton Academy just keeps on getting worse. Her ex-boyfriend was murdered, and at the end of Untouchable, her new boyfriend was arrested for the crime. Can we say awkward?

Despite the conviction of the Billings Girls in general, Reed can't believe that Josh was responsible. With the help of Dash McCafferty (who would have thought he'd turn out to be useful?), Reed begins her own investigation to confirm Josh's alibi and discovers an ill-advised affair, mor More...

I loved this book, it kept me on my toes. It was probably the best book that I have probably read in the whole series so far. I loved the way that the scenes that matter the most are really dramatic and exciting. I love the way that the author describes the charactors' facial expressions, the way that they act and what they are feeling when different events happen. I would write what the events that happened were but that would just spoil the book for those reading this review. I recommend this More...

Ah-ma-zing!!! This was the best Private book so far in the series. You never know what is going to happen intil the end of the book. Kate Brian does it again with Confessions she has you thinking one thing and then the next mintue another thing. In her books nothing is slow. There is just so much suspense and drama in this book than ever. Thomas's murder get solved in this one and you never believe who actually did it! “Confessions” is a great adventerous book. In the book my favorite character was, of course the main character, Reed Brennan. I admire how she takes her problems and if had to pick which character I would rather be it would be her. My least favorite is probably reed’s ex-boyfriend Thomas. Thomas basically used her and lied to her that he wasn’t selling drugs and getting drunk every night. I would highly recommend this book for girl teens who like to read about other girl’s drama and how one girl More...

If I was reading Confessions back when Inner Circle, etc hadn't came out, I would totally think that this is the last book of the series.

Reed was still trying to find something to let Josh out of the jail. With the help of Dash, they were trying to meet up with Blake Pearson, Thomas' brother. However, things didn't turn well with Blake.

In this book, we get quite a lot of Cheyenne Martin, who turns out to be a nice character & we'll see the true nature of Ariana. Reed's ch More...

I think that "Confessions" is a really good book. Its about a girl named Reed Brennan, whose boyfriend got murdered and the crime was blamed on her current boyfriend named Josh. Reed believes that Josh is innocent and that he wouldn't do such a thing. I also think that Josh wouldn't do such a thing to because he always act like a gentleman, and he is one of Thomas's good friend. There is no way, Josh would kill Thomas. There is no reason too.
