"I bet you think you know everything about your mum and dad, don't you.....?" teases the blurb. This book of poems and hilarious rhymes enthral children with their 'near the mark' humour. There are poems about Dad's pants which rouse fits of giggles to deeper messages entrenched in poems such as 'How Can I Be Lonely?'This poem can be used to initiate topics in PSHE relating to understanding emotions. I keep this book close to hand to use for time fillers and story time. The humour would be best ...more
