I liked this book better than I did the first. It was more developed and had a better story and wasn't just about the sex. Believe me though, sex is a main component. If I had to describe this book I'd say it's like an erotic version of Indiana Jones, but there's more than one kind of cave exploration in this story. Wink wink. Great read. Two delightful heroes [Demitri the demi-god and Leon the Cajun shifter:] and a heroine [Val:] with a built in 'evil twin'. The characters are great, the plot has lots of action and the setting is beautifully detailed. As far as sex scenes go, there is something for everyone [M/M and M/F/M and M/F:].

A true menage where the men touch, lick, suck and penetrate each other too! Whew! I had to fan myself. This was a hot a smexy book. Val is a vengeance demon. This reminds me of Anya from Buffy. The last time I read a book with more than one wanker involved, it was LJ's Long Hard Ride. In that one, the whole smexing thing was treated with as much finesse as a plumber laying pipe (double entendre noted but not really intended). Since I just had my house replumbed (literal rather than euphemistic), I consider it more of a pain in the ass (again, double entendre noted but not inten-aw shit; giggle if you wish).

What happens when you mix a tiger-shifting demigod, a vengeance demon and a mortal who can shift into any animal he's ever touched? The hottest book I have ever had the pleasure of reading. First of all I was thrilled that I finally found a book with a vengeance demon in it. I enjoyed this book but it didn't grab me like the first one Mortal Temptations which I absolutely loved. From the first line - Demitri really knew how to screw - I knew this was going to be one erotic read! Demitri betrays Valenarian and spends the rest of the book making up for it. Leon enters the story and the hot three-way sex starts. Both Demitri and Leon are cat shifters and the sex scenes between them are intense and H.O.T. much better than the M/M/F scenes. Great first read for this author! I love how she wove in historical facts, different cultures and mythology to round out the story and give the characters more depth. The sexy scenes were an added plus! I'll definitely be looking for more books by this author!
This is a straight up erotica novel. Not really into menage, but was not turned off reading this because of it. I liked all three main characters, would have liked more backstory on Leon, but still, I fininshed the book and may actually read the first one!

Just never really caught me. I find it interesting how I can adore some books by an author (Allyson's Stormwalker series) yet not really care for others. I wonder why that is.
It was a little slow to start off, but eventually it the plot picked up and turned out really great.
Just a note: if M/M bothers you, don't read this book. This was a menage with male on male action as well.

I felt like the first in the series was okay so I gave it's sequel here a shot. It was just sort of..... meh. I didn't really like any of the characters and therefore didn't care what they did after a few chapters. I've been looking for something good and steamy lately but my luck seems to be not for it. Oh well.
Very simplistic storyline, but very hot scenes. If your looking for a steamy novel, this is the one for you. The setting is in Egypt and involves Dimitri (demigod) Valenarian (demoness) and Leon (shifter)
FINALLY I got to this one and I am LOVING it!!!!! Holy shit, I almost forgot how incredibly hot Allyson James´s stories are!

I picked up this book today. Can't wait to read! I missed the first book though. I looked everywhere for it. I hope it doesn't throw me too far off starting with #2
A TSTL demon with a split personality? Yep. I really liked the first book, but I'm ready to throw this one at the wall. DNF.
I thought this book was good. Lots of m/m action, which was a little weird at first but I thoight I played out ok.
