Esme Worthington only reads about adventures in her studies of antiquities, including the legendary Pandora's box, while she remains a prim and proper miss. However, that is before her study is ransacked by those searching for clues to the key to Pandora's box. Fielding Grey, a treasure hunter himself, just wants to steal the box back from the criminals, but his heart won't let him leave Esme behind. He rescues her, and takes her along on his adventure, but she becomes more than a handful when t ...more

The Raven, like Fielding Grey, is also a treasure hunter, but unlike Fielding, he will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even if it means kidnapping and murdering one of his own!

Fielding Grey finds Esme Worthington the night she is kidnapped, handcuffed to a wall wearing only a "flimsy nightdress" (I'm thinking it's a bit see-through since he cannot seem to stop looking at her!). Not only has he found Esme, but he has also found Pandora's box. When Esme realizes she has the Pandora's box in

"I’ve always been a huge movie buff and my very favorite genre is romantic action adventure; think Indiana Jones and The Mummy. Toss together some archeology, a dash of history, and a nasty curse, add in two protagonists with lots of sizzles and I am one happy woman. I suppose it’s this love that brought me to my Legend Hunters and the first book in that series, SEDUCE ME...."

A quick, fun read that feels like the book equivalent of TNT's The Librarian movies.

The men are members of Solomon's, an organization that tracks down objects of legend. Fielding Grey comes off of discovering the lost library of Alexandria and finds himself suddenly on the trail of Pandora's Box. Esme Worthington holds the key (literally) to said box, and has an unfortunate habit of being kidnapped by the bad guy. She thinks she's been cursed with Lust (one of the curses contained in the box),

I love you. I love you. I love you.

I spent days reading the book and I admit the build-up is slow. Historical Fiction + the searching of Pandora box = Too boring for me. This is my second historical novel paperback and it was a mistake picking this up because I keep seeing this on my feed or any form of platforms. I'm grateful that I got this on sale so it's a win-win situation considering that the book didn't suck so bad.

Okay. So, this is my first book from this author and I have to say that she surprised me. After reading a book that disappoints me (because the author happens to be one of my favorite author) I was quite reluctant to read this book. And I'm glad I pick it up because it was really good! Well, at least for me it was.

I don't know why the rating for this book is quite low but then again, it's not right for me to judge a reader's choice or taste in books. For me, I do like it alot! Well, it may not

This was a fun romance for readers who love a little adventure with their romance. With a touch of Indiana Jones and The Mummy, this novel features adventure, fun, and danger. I look forward to reading others in this series! It is also a RT Reviewer’s Choice Award WINNER for Best Historical Romantic Adventure--a category I will have to keep an eye on if this book is an example of what to expect. Overall, a fun and entertaining read. Can't wait to try others in this series.

Nice summer adventure movie vibe (think "The Mummy" in Victorian times) with a loner treasure hunter hero and a hopeful innocent heroine. The romance and the adventure plot are well balanced. If you like classic Amanda Quick historicals, you will love this one.

Paranormal Romance
Outcast from her family and her placed in society because of her intelligence and voice to broadcast it, the heroine has sheltered herself in her one world of artifacts, research and Pandora's box. One night, she is shocked to find 2 strange men in her house. Even more shocked to realize she is now being kidnapped in her nightgown and brought to god knows where for god knows what purpose. The heroine is not a shrinking violet though and she is quite the inquisitive type-much to her kidnapped cha ...more

I am a big fan of Historical Romance and so was excited when I got the opportunity to read SEDUCE ME by Robyn DeHart. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the story had a touch of magic to it as well, creating a very realistic and unique read. In SEDUCE ME, DeHart has created a wonderful story with an intriguing plot that is bound to keep the reader captivated. This is book one in DeHart's new Legend Hunters series and it looks like DeHart has created a winning new set of stories.

When I saw Treasure Me, reviewed over at Smexybooks I was intrigued by the story of a historical romance centered around the story of finding the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. I discovered that it was book three in a series, and the virgo in me would not let me read the series out of order, so I quickly got Seduce Me, book one in the Legend Hunters series from my library. I am so glad I did-it was surprisingly good and I found a great new historical romance author that I can't wait to read more

Fielding Grey has made his living as a fortune hunter. His job is to obtain objects that are of great worth, and most of the time are thought to be just fiction. He's been asked to locate a treasure created by the Gods, but he is unsure he wants to trouble himself to find it. The men who want him to find this treasure, the men of Soloman's, are the men that may have been the reason for his father's death. If he takes thi

Fielding Gray has been hired by Solomon’s (otherwise known as the Legend Hunters) to help return a missing artifact. This artifact is described as quite dangerous and the sooner it is returned the better... it is the legendary Pandora’s Box . Fielding knows of the tales surrounding the box but he is more concerned with how much money they plan on paying him to go on this mission. He isn’t very fond of Solomon’s or its members - his father was once a member and Fielding always felt that they lure ...more

This was another book sale find for me, and man I am SO glad I found it. This book was so much fun. It’s not as well written or poetic as, say Loretta Chase or Anne Stuart, but the plot, oh my the plot, was a blast. It felt almost like a cross between Indiana Jones and The Mummy. It’s a wonderful fluff read, one I imagine I’ll pick up again in the future when I need something fun and fluffy.

Seduce Me is a brand new book in a new series titled The Legend Hunters. The Legend Hunters are a group of men, whose very existence is a secret. They travel all over the globe seeking out treasure and great wealth.

Ever since Esme Worthington was a little girl, she can remember hearing stories about Pandora’s Box. You could say that Esme became obsessed with the legend. Her father even gave her a key that he jokingly said must open the box, because the key said Pandora on it. Ever since, Esme h

Unlike his father who approached archeology as a scholar, Fielding Grey has had to accept clients and pursue artifacts based on their monetary value. Fielding Grey is a treasure hunter. His most recent client? Solomon's, a society of treasure hunters who work for the intellectual value, not the money. Fielding only works for the money. Being a member of Solomon's killed his father and emptied the family vaults. Now, they're asking him to work for them to recover Pandora's Box. Even the exorbitant sum he names doesn't deter the society.

This romance starts out with an Indiana Jones-like scene, with Fielding searching for the Great Library of Alexandria. The adventures just continue from there, for both Fielding and Esme. I’ll grant that the plot is a tad predictable, but I want that in a romance, to be honest. I want to know that after all the danger and misunderstandings, the hero and heroine will get a happy ending.

And there is a lot fun and adventure in this romance. Esme’s life is on the line several times, both due to the

"Completely Seduced!"

I really enjoyed the book. It was a fast read and I was surprised the "paranormal" elements did not bother me as much as I have anticipated. The only problem I have with the book was--too much telling and not enough showing. The book was under 300 pages and I wished that the author would have given a few more good pages in detailing out the story a little more. I like it that the story jumped straight into the action and continue it throughout the entire book. But, I sometim

DNFed at page 100 of 300. I really wanted to like this -- historians, antiquarians, and archaeologists are kind of my romance niche. It's pleasant enough to read for escapism, but I couldn't find any substance to latch onto. The plot is thin. The characters aren't memorable. One is an Indiana Jones clone (which ought to be great but comes off perfunctory) and the other is a stereotypical "feisty intellectual woman ahead of her time -- who actually feels lonely and rejected all the time and just ...more

The premise was unique and interesting but the romance was kind of dull. There wasn't a lack of a spark. It's just that Esme and Fielding weren't very memorable characters. That said, I did find one of the secondary characters, Maxwell Barrett, intriguing. Since I enjoyed the adventure feel of this book, I'll give the follow-up Desire Me (which stars Maxwell and is released this June) a try.
