Vampires are a dime a dozen these days. Everywhere you turn, there’s a new one ready to take your blood to prolong his un-life. Soon, there are going to be more vamps than humans, and then where will we be? (Read I Am Legend by Richard Matheson for the answer.) Between Twilight, True Blood, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, no human will be left unbitten, except that none of these vampires actually attack humans.

Tall, Dark and Fangsome adds nothing new to the decade old discussion of vam More...

Tall, Dark & Fangsome, the final installment in the Immortality Bites series featuring Sarah Dearly, is another slam-dunk effort for Michelle Rowen. TD & F picks up immediately after the cliff-hanger ending in Stakes & Stilettos. Sarah, still left dealing with her nightwalker problem, must find a way to outsmart her blackmailer and hide her forbidden relationship with Thierry.

Throughout the story, the characters remain true to their established personalities. Part of the charm of thi More...

The series ending, was, in a nutshell, awesome! I loved every word, but I was kind of sad to see it end. I've been so much in-tuned with Sarah Dearly that I was definitely hesitant to say goodbye.
But, nonetheless, this addition is just as exciting and revealing as all of the others. Readers can't help but be drawn into the story, and hopefully like me, you'll be hanging on every word!
Question: Is it just me, or is there always something exciting going on in this series? Serious More...

Tall, Dark & Fangsome is the final installment in the Immortality Bites series featuring Sarah Dearly. The story starts up immediately after the cliff-hanger ending in Stakes & Stilettos. Sarah, is still dealing with her nightwalker problem, she is still being blackmailed and has had to keep her relationship with Thierry on the downlow, or else he will be doomed to eternal hellfire, and her friends are still trying to hook her up (don't they remember this all got started with a blind date gone w More...

My thoughts...This is the fifth and final book, so if you are new to the Immortality Series, I recommend you start with book 1, Bitten and Smitten. This last installment did a great job of wrapping up the series. The ending was very satisfying and I wasn't left hanging. Picking up from the previous book, Sarah is dealing with the fact that she is a Nightwalker. This means horrible blood lust, sun allergy, super vamp strength and a wild side. She is really tested in this book as she has to l More...

First off I would like to mention that I have not read the other books in the series, so I was coming to this book with no previous knowledge of the characters. That said, I absolutely loved the book, and plan to get the earlier books in the series to see how they ended up where they did in the beginning of this book.

The story is witty and engaging and all the characters are wonderful, especially Sarah and Thierry. I even have a soft spot for grumpy Barry! It did not take long for m More...

A satisfying end to the "Immortality Bites" Series. The final installment in the series was nothing to shout about...it wasn't the best one, but it also wasn't the worst. It was very much a continuation of the fourth book, and I sometimes has trouble remembering if something happened at the beginning of this book or the end of the fourth one. The end was kind of anti-climactic...the conflict was sort of just resolved with a snap of the finger...nothing extremely exciting in my opinion. More...

This was the only book in the series that my library carried so I had no other books from this author to compare it to . I did enjoy the book but some parts were a bit predictable. For me the writing style was not a smooth read, I didn't catch some parts of the story right off and had to kind of go back and look at parts to get some of the characters. That is what happens when you jump into the end of a series :) It was a good read and I did enjoy it. I liked the character descriptions, and the More...

I didn't realize until after I had finished the book that it was the last in the series. I'm sad about that. I was hoping for more. However, I was also wondering where Michelle Rowen would go with the plot after everything that happened at the end. (It makes since now that I know she was wrapping it all up.) I loved the characters and I'm sorry to say goodbye to them. If book 3, Lady & the Vamp, hadn't been about Quinn I would be hoping for a spin off on him, but I'm thinking that won't happ More...

I read various reviews and felt I should add a different opinion to the mix. I always read the reviews and am impressed that none so far shares the same feeling I have about Tall, Dark and Fangsome: I HATED it. I've read the previous 4 books, really liked the first, kind of got more of the same in the second, really liked the little spin off on the third, the fourth didn't do it so much for me but this one I had to drag myself to finish reading it.

"I read the first two books last year, but I have to admit I'm not sure why I didn't read the third and fourth books in this paranormal series about Sarah Dearly (who was turned into a vampire on a particularly bad blind date). Fortunately, Rowen skillfully wove backstory details into Tall, Dark and Fangsome, so I never felt as if I was lost during this enjoyable final installment of the series. In fact, I think I'll be reading the previous books in the not-too-distant future! As an aside, More...

Tall, Dark, and Fangsome was one of the best reads of a long while for me. What made this book the most interesting was that the reader is actually pulled into the story. Only very few talented authors can compel the reader to become a part of the story and Ms. Rowen is one of them. You cannot afford to miss this book!

Tall, Dark and Fangsome is a book I jumped at when it was offered, mostly because I'd seen Michelle Rowen's Stakes and Stilettos floating 'round the blogs earlier this year... I mean, how do you not want to read a book called Stakes and Stilettos? Especially if you like shoes... And vampire books... *grin*

I received Tall, Dark & Fangsome almost a year ago. Since this is the 5th book in Michelle Rowen's Immortality Bites series, I wanted to read the first four books before I started to read this one. Yeah, that didn't happen. Even though I didn't read the first four books, I wasn't lost as I read this book. I really liked that Michelle Rowen gives you "The Basics," telling you everything that happened before, and as you keep reading, you get a glimpse of what happened before.

Sarah Dearly is back for her fifth and final adventure in Tall, Dark & Fangsome. Still battling with the nightwalker curse that was bestowed upon her in Stakes & Stilettos, Sarah is playing "servant" to one of her worst enemies, Gideon Chase. Gideon is a vampire hunter, but for the last several years he has been under the torture of hellfire. He thinks Sarah is his solution and that if she turns him into a vampire, he will conquer said hellfire and be immortal and whole again. In orde More...

The first time I got to read Michelle’s first book for this series, I was completely and utterly smitten with the way she wrote, her characters and overall everything! I cannot fully explain in depth how in love I am with this series! This is the last book in the immortality bites series, which I was very sad indeed to see it end. This book starts off where it ended in book 4, with Thierry and Sarah broken up, G. Chase still seeking Sarah to sire him, among other things like Sarah’s nightwalker More...

Lighthearted and fun, Tall, Dark & Fangsome effectively mixes romance with vampire paranormal action. It's my first time to read any of the Immorality Bites series and I found the book to be an enjoyable read. The vampires and the slayers are entertaining and the plot full of twists. This series isn't as graphic or gory as some of the other vampire series - which I liked. Overall, a fun escape!

Good ending of the great series!!! Sarah and Thierry got their happy end! I liked the series first of all because of the humour! Sarah was hilarious and all her monologues were funny and enjoying! I liked all the characters, especially George, Veronique and Quinn. I liked such style of writing, where there is a humorous approach even to seriuos events! Fabulous, series, refreshing and unusual!

I was little bit sad to see this series conclude, but it did close on a perfect note. I am trying to not divulge any secrets here, but Sarah does have a happy ending. I thought Michelle Rowen did a great job with this series and it died a natural death rather than limping along like some paranormal romance series. This is a quick read and it is best to start this series from the beginning.

Not bad. I wish I had started with the first installment in the series but I did not. It's refreshing to read a story with the setting in Canada, for once. The writing isn't the best but it's more entertainment than a true love story. Tall, Dark & Fangsome makes a funny, cute, but light read for those who like vampire romances. 2.5/5 stars.

This was the first book that I have read by Michelle Rowen. I really enjoyed the book. As you would guess from the title this is a book about Vampires....a romance book no less. Filled with lots of humor and quips that I could relate to. If you want a light read and a throughly enjoyable one do pick up this book.

I enjoyed this last book, there were a lot of twists and turns, but not too many surprises. It ended the way I kind of expected, but at least it wasn't a disappointing ending. Sarah comes out unscathed, but Amy, Barry and Veronique did not die- we can't all win unfortunately! Overall, good to the last bite.
