The Lost Books of Eve by Josh Howard is a 4 issue run that appears will never be finished in print form (as the 4th issue came out in 2007 and there has been no more comics). It most assuredly is not complete with the 4th issues ending with “Not the end.”.

What did we get in this quick 4 issue run? A ton of fan service for the biblical crowd? You have a naked and mostly naked Eve, Asherah in a leather bikini, and Lilith in a bra and mini-skirt. Not the men are super covered up either, but oddly

The strength of this book is melting theology with mythology without being insulting to the Christian religion. The weakness is that it leaves to many plot holes. The ending is rushed; the book could have had several more chapters expanding the story and the journey of Eve to find Adam.

This is a quick read with great art work; it just needs to be longer to flesh out the story and characters.

Flashy, shallow art and a bland story that tries too hard to make Genesis "edgy."
