I read this little jem in one evening. It kept my undivided attention. The pace was appropriate and the content complete at the end of the novella. Now, I have to be honest. I'm a little leary of ordering books that specifically say BDSM in the blurb because I've read too many that are cheesy and unreal. I am going to keep this review short... why... because the book is only 170 pages.... So, I don't want to give to much away... and by reading the blurb, you get the gest of what the book is about. I absolutely loved this book. It's hard to find a decent story about BDSM, most have mediocre story lines at best and only focus on the sex.
Don't get me wrong I like my sex scenes steamy and this book didn't disappoint. But it also gave the right amount of build up to the start of Toffer and Graces relationship and properly focused on the trust aspect, which is really what D/s relationships are all about.

I'm having one of those moments where I don't quite know what to say beyond I loved it!
I don't consider that a review though, so....
Very hot bdsm read! Not much angst, what there is, is resolved quickly. Love both the H and BBW h (though I'd have liked them to be fleshed out a bit more), and the story while not the most in depth one ever told, was entertaining and well written.
One note though, the description makes this looks like there's two stories, but really it'...more

This was a good read. I'm not normally into the novels where they meet online, but this one was well written. Steamy scenes and a very caring dom. This had a great story to go with it, not just the steamy scenes. I felt for Grace as she was receiving unwanted attention from the soon to be new principal at work and didn't know how to get him to stop. I wanted to cry with her when the blackmailing started and I was ecstatic that she was able to overcome her problems. Very good read.
Toffer aka Drake aka Christopher hehehe yes all one person loved him and Grace as well. The story/ plot for me was good. Toffee and grace started messaging each other and the relationship started from there. The only thing I will say and this is my opinion I didn't like that it took so long for them to physically see each other most of the communication as I said was through messaging and calling put they were still inventive with the sex though, with me saying that don't let that turn you off. ...more
This book just didn't work for me. It started off okay; I liked the sexy email exchanges that Grace and Toffer had, but interspersed with those was the creepy storyline of Grace's principal. That was just like a cold icy bucket of water on what could have been a hot story.

This was all bliss for me.
BDSM + Hot man with a big heart + suspense plot + something new to me (cyber submission) = a woman who stayed awake to finish the story... (note the dark circles under the eyes)

I read this book in literally one sitting in a couple hours. It kept my attention the whole time. Although a bit of a fantasy, i loved the characters. The relationship builds by every click of the page. Looking for more to read by this author.
I was mixed in whether this would be a 2 or 3. I ended up giving this a 2.5. The BDSM scenes were okay. I just didn't like Grace very much. She didn't do it for me. Her complex of her being fat is over done. To have a conflict between her and the thin model is a bit trite. Topher's secret while I understood, was still wrong. He did break a trust and I can't really condone it. Ms. Barron's writing is fine. Her sex scenes were good. I just didn't like this one as much as I enjoyed her o...more

A nice twist on this one, getting to know eachother online. Since I met my fiance like that, I know how the bond can form. :) I think the actual sex lacked a bit though, so only 3,5 stars from me.
A finalist for the NLA's Pauline Reage Award for novels published in 2009.
It was alright. Story line to fast paced for me. Wanted more.
An easy stressless read despite a few angsty situations.
Wow! This was a really good book. I picked it up yesterday and didn't move for three hours until I finished it. It encompassed my favorite subject, BDSM, but it was also a very sweet love story. I also loved that the heroine was a "plus sized" woman. Made her easy to identify with because she showed her insecurities and was loved anyway. Beautifully written contemporary novel. I will look for more of Ms. Barron's books.

I can see how many people have straight away said they loved this book. Years ago back from a long flight I read this to unwind, what I didn't realise was how much it would mean to me. As I started reading this book, I was WOW-ed and felt it was special.
