Despite the cheesey (sp?) cover here (updated one is MUCH better, lol), this is a really good book! I have read the others in the series & didn't realize this was part of it...it stands alone fine.
Of course, romance is part of the plot, but sonis treason, military weapons, spies, etc...definitely worth the read.
Not much of a review as I am anti-spoilers, but wanted to make sure my fellow readers (Kay Hooper fans) truly do NOT judge this book by its cover! ;-)
