It's pretty hard to have much to say about this extremely short book. It's a classic of gothic literature and I was curious about it, so I picked it up. It's very atmospheric, but there is virtually no character development and very little action. The storyline goes directly to hell, literally. The end.

A pretty average ghost story. It was too short even for a short story. One can see how William Harrison has tried to generate a creepy atmosphere in his tale but he failed completely. Coz this story is going nowhere. He could have at least developed the werewolf characters a little bit instead of focusing on a love story.
