Obsession Untamed, by Pamela Palmer, is not a bad book. A quick, easy read. While you have to roll your eyes at some of the names, and some of the slightly silly rituals, the story of Tighe and Delaney is a decent one.

Obsession Untamed is the second book in the Feral Warriors Series by Pamela Palmer. After an exciting first book, I was anxious to pick up where we left off. I had a soft spot for Tighe after Desire Untamed since he seemed to be like a big brother to Kara. He was sweet, but he was just as strong and vicious as Lyon when needed.

Hmm I don't know whether it's because I have been out of the paranormal romance game for a while now, or some other reason, but I just find it hard to get going with this genre now a days.
Once I get going and "into" it I am fine, but until that moment I struggle.
In saying that the first part of this book took me a while to get into, but it is probably not the book and more just me. About halfway through I started loving it and the adrenaline starting pumping.

I recommend reading this series in order. If you try to read this book without reading the first one, Desire Untamed, you are going to wonder why Tighe has a clone he is chasing all over D.C. The chasing of the clone that must die is how Tighe finds his love interest, the very human Delaney Randall. Tighe is running out of time he has to find his clone so that he can regain the half of his soul that is keeping the clone animated. Zaphene turned out to be a Mage. She had manipulated the Feral Warriors, particularly Foxx into helping her carry out her plans, inadvertently. The first step was having Foxx bring the Daemon blade to the summoning. The next was capturing Kara for her Radiant's blood. Zaphene had managed to create clones of the warriors, soulless, bloodless killers. The warriors managed to kill all of them, except one ... Tighe.

I really like that each of these books focus on a different warrior. That being said, if you have not read Desire Untamed, you will have a hard time following this book. So much happens in the first book that you really need to understand the world that Pamela Palmer has created before diving into this one. “Obsession Untamed” is a book filled with passion and betrayal. In “Passion Untamed” a witch split the souls of the Feral Warriors, creating a clone of each. I loved this book. It was the book that introduced me to Feral Warriors! I made a mistake by reaidng this book first and did not realize it was the second book in the series. So I was quite a bit lost since I did not have a background to the series. I got this in the mail from one of my friends and she did not like it enough to keep it.

Okay, I'll say it. I'm officially hooked on Palmer's Feral Warriors Series. Obsession Untamed is the second novel in the Series, and tells the story of Tighe, and his fascination with Delaney, who just happens to be human. As with the first book in this series, I really enjoyed this story and couldn't put it down. Let's see, where to begin.... This second book in the Feral Warriors series by Pamela Palmer was as excellent as the first. Tighe's book I so looked forward to and got to know him and his past with this book and could not put it down. This story is more violent scenes than the first and at times I had to skip the paragraph (its more because I'm not one to read gory details for some themes as this one did that involved humans. Delaney is searching for a serial killer and Tighe is searching for the clone who stole half his soul - the same person. They meet, fight, then eventually fall in love. I didn't care for Delaney for at least half the book, probably more than half. She was so combative and instead of listening to her gut or her heart, she just kept saying, "I'm in the FBI and this is what I do. So what that they shot Tighe through the heart, he should not have run." Yes there are some tears but not enough for me....more
I'm telling ya, if I see another book with a character name with an extra H or Y (like Rhage or Vypher or Zsadist etc. ad nauseum), I'd going to hold a ceremonial burning. This was a new author to me, and I missed the telltale signs in the back blurb. I think Laurel Hamilton has much to answer for, not the least of which is the increasing tendency of this subsubsub-genre to tilt over into porn.

I have to say, having looked through the covers for the rest of the series, this is my least favourite of them. I think it's the obviously bleached hair. That's probably going to be my only criticism of this book, so now that we've got that out of the way...

This is a continuation of the Feral Warrior series. It was very enjoyable read. Delaney is an FBI agent who is tracking down a killer. Tighe is a feral warrior who can shift into a tiger. His soul has been split and a clone has been created. This clone is evil and killing people to feed off the energy. Tighe is out to stop this clone when he mets Delaney. But she thinks that he is the killer. As soon as Tighe meets Delaney he feels a connection to her but does not want to be tied to a human.
I liked the charaters in this book. Both were very likeable. I have enjoyed the world of the shifters and their unique characteristics. Unfortunatly, like in the first book, the story starts to get boged down and repetitious and tends to get tedious. Hopefully the author will return to writing more about the charaters and romance and less angst which in this book involved the murder of children which I really did not care for.

Another great book. This one was a bit slower in the beginning, but quickly picked up. Tighe, who was one of my favorites from the start, was the focus in this installment. I did appreciate the fact that world building wasn't the main focus, but my one complaint was that the POV changed frequently, without notice, leaving me slightly disoriented. Other than that one minor flaw, this book was fantastic. This book definitely sealed the deal, I am a HUGE fan of the Feral Warriors.
