Especially liked "Dreamgirl". I was a preteen in the Detroit area in the mid to late 1960's, and we all listened to a lot of Motown on our transistor radios! It was fun to remember some of the groups she mentions that were maybe a little more popular in Detroit than nationwide.

Can I just say I LOVE this book? Mary tells so much about her upbringing, The Supremes, and Motown! It broke my heart to read about Flo. This is two books in one, and I didn't think the second half would live up the first, but I loved the whole book.

Fans of motown and 1960s rock music will enjoy this memoir from Mary Wilson, one of the original Supremes. "Dreamgirl" recounts Mary's rise from the projects to the biggest stages in the world, but it was considered controversial for the scathing portrait she painted of fellow Supreme Dianna Ross.
