I liked this book because it pointed out how gays and lesbians struggle with discrimination not only in society as a whole but also within our community itself. One thing that I found interesting was lesbian and gays will discriminate against bi and trans-gender people. I became aware of my own person self discrimination based on years of programming from society and my parents. It also gave me some tools to help me start to questions those thoughts and discredit those programmed reactions.
