A really nice book about Koby Mandell and his friend Yosef who went on a trip with their famlies to yam hamelach and then got stoned by Arabs. Koby's Mother wrote this book. Now there is a group (or maybe even Group'S) name after him for kids who have beem hert in wars CH"LA!
Kathy
This is the story of the mother of a 13 year old Jewish-American boy who was brutally beaten to death in a cave in the Judean Desert near his West Bank home. As she learns to deal with her sorrow she sees some actions of birds as signs from her son and she reaches out to others in this war torn area to help them deal with their pains.

i'm not a big fan of her writing style, but this book is worth reading. i read it ~4 years ago and it was my initiation into the world of sobbing on the subway.
