Wonderful high concept. I started reading Legacy of Fire because I knew what this book had in store. Slightly failed on execution (I believe because the unedited manuscript was too long to publish, and major chunks were cut or replaced with something shorter (and inferior))
But, at the end of the day, the reasons why it's failed are unimportant. All that matters is a) the book didn't live up to my expectations of it and b) when my group gets this far, I will try to bring back more of the high con...more
