This is my other favorite childhood book along with Robinson Crusoe. I rememeber it very fondly and how much I identfied myself with the protagonist. Also, I got this present as a gift from my late grandmother, who I loved like a mother. She was an avid reader and the one responsible for my passion for reading. Thank you Lygia for being a part of my childhood, and thanks Grandma for introducing me to this big great world of books since whe I was a litle kid.

"The Yellow Bag" is such an amazing book and it has a very special place in my heart. I first read it when I was very small, maybe eight years ago, and since then I have re-read it so many times I can't even count. The story is very different from what you usually read, and I think that is what caught me about this book and made me love it with all my heart. Every time I read it, it's like a trip back to my childhood, and it gets even better the more I read it, because when you're older you unde ...more

This was one of my favorite books as a child. I re-read it several times. I carried a purse of my own with notebooks, pens and other things and started dreaming about being a writer! My passion for books and writing only grew since then.
