Some interesting ideas about how to use knitting to help people. Projects weren't so great or interesting.
Pretty good. The projects are designed as gifts or as charity projects, and there's a good range of styles and difficulty levels. It includes profiles of several knitting charities and a list of others in the back. It's beautifully photographed, but watch out for errors. I noticed one flaw in the pattern for the Elijah lacy baby shawl. The written instructions say to cast on 90 stitches and follow the chart, decreasing until there are 5 stitches left. Some interesting patterns in here. I like the whole "angel of this-or-that" theme that runs through it. I will definitely get this from the library again, though I don't think I like it enough to buy it.
Very interesting with clear concise easy to follow instructions, very pleased I bought it and already going to do three of the projects.
This book also had some nice patterns that wouldn't take long or require a lot of yarn.
