Ernst Zimmermann’s life changed with a touch. The woman with satin skin, the color of coffee with a splash of cream in it, was the one. At thirty-four, he had believed he was perfectly happy with his life as a Navy Seal.

At thirty-four, Koali “Kacy” Travis has a thriving electrical business. Friendship was about as committed as she wanted to be with men. Up until the day he

I am giving this 3.5 stars but only for Ernst "Ghost" Zimmerman. His character regardless of being Sexy and Handsome as shit, but because for his character of wanting the women that he fell in love trust him and believe in what he wants was a true relationship not a one night stand. She didn't want to trust him or what he was wanting from what they have with each other. She kept pulling away from him and not in a good way. He wanted more , he wanted happiness with her, he wanted to have a family ...more

Maybe it's me, but, the other books in the series seemed to be shorter reads and that was what I was expecting, however, this is the length of a normal book. I don't think I ever figured out who Greeley was. It wasn't the hero or the heroine's name. This book is about Ernst and Koali. There names are were close to prompting me to start another shelf for characters with horrible names, but I resisted. I kept thinking Ernest and Koala (as in the bear). Her middle name is Cynemon, which is the spic ...more
Ok, I'm still giving this book a 4 even though the entire series was starting to wind down for me a feel a bit repetitive. The H/H are really great together and their relationship is very well developed. There is also one scene in particular which for me is the most emotional moment in any of the books in the series. So do I recommend this book, yes, absolutely, but I would also recommend taking a breather before reading it if you have read the first few books in the series. The pattern and prog ...more

I am not one to give away any spoilers but you can read other posts for that. Mainly it was not the a bad read but the heroine was a bit schizophrenic which got real old real fast but I guess in light of what she had gone through made sense. I just thought the character could have been for articulate with her feelings and emotions. Poor Ernst spent much of his time trying to pull things our of her which was like pulling hens teeth!
Loved this one. Kacy and Ernst what an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. They fit so well together it was like kismet. Adam really stole the show. It was sad to read about what happened to him. I imagined that playing out differently. I had a feeling Dez would pop up in this book from Kacy's car. That was a nice surprise. Can't wait to read about which team member will fall next.
The books in the series are beginning to be repetitive, love story-wise. White Alpha-male gets himself a Black Jane, ship goes through something crazy, then they have a happily ever after. Same ol' same ol'. The first book was, without doubt, my favorite.
I read the whole series whilst on holiday in Jamaica.

I loved the series.

BUT: Spelling mistakes and some serious dodgy formatting of the text at times. This went through all of the books....
