Not the best volume, but still interesting. It was nice to see some humour again, too ^_^
Yûko-san's business must be flourishing, what with all these expensive wishes and trades lately! Yeesh!
Before I'd even cracked open this volume, I wondered: "Hmm, I wonder if they'll arrive in Kurogane's Japan, soon. Will he keep travelling with them if they do? The whole point of his joining them was to eventually get back home, after all." Well behold! The volume begins with
I know that this series is mostly about Syaoran (Shaolan) and Sakura, but my favorite part is the storyline of Fai (Fye) and Kurogane. Their relationship can be viewed as a very, VERY close friendship or something more which is perfect. I'm fascinated by all the changes that the characters went through, especially Fai - who's now a full-fledged vampire with no magic - and Kurogane - who now has a mechanical arm. Also, I love the guest appearances of many Clamp characters like Seishiro or Fuma. I ...more
Love the art and writing style of Clamp. Must read for manga and fantasy lovers.
You had me...and then you lost me.
I give this 3.5 because who don't love CLAMP? Their artwork is too awesome. Their characterization is wonderful, but they tend to create one damsel in distress in every manga. One of many things I hate is damsel in distress ;^;

After Fay's arc, the tale of his past, it was wonderful and full of angst. I really liked it. And then I had to read all about Sakura being hurt and sad and pathetic. And that's it. I have had enough.

Honestly, except XXXHolic, I had never finished any CLAMP's manga.
Things continue to pretty much make sense, more or less! Although this will be a tough trend to continue, given the reappearance of fake!Syaoran at the end of the volume. (Though the fact that he's there, where a feather is, actually does make a lot of sense.)

Recommends it for: Clamp fans, anime fans
This book is so precious! I love how much Syaoran loves Sakura, despite whatever she feels for him. And Kurogane and Fay have grown so much too since the beginning of the story. A definite must read for all manga/anime fans.
Dec 2013 - Makes more sense now that I'm simultaneously reading xxxHoLiC. Some great battles and some nice twists.

I need the next volume! Another cliffhanger ending.

A nice tie back to some chapters in xxxHolic, though overall I'm starting to lose the train of the story as things like time, dimensions, and magic wishes are making things confusing.
[Ch. 167-174]

Exciting! I can't wait to see what happens next... although I doubt either Syaorans' will die..
