This book is related to The Sweetest Tattoo but can be read as a stand alone title.

Greyson Cole needs to get out of Raleigh. Everywhere he turns, he sees people falling in love, getting married, and starting families. It’s enough to make a grown man want to rip out his own hair. And for a cynic like Grey, one more employee getting engaged signals the need for a long overdu...more

Can two men, who have sworn off relationships, ever find true love again? Can two men have non-stop sex and not be raw with pain because of it? Yes and Yes!!

Grey and Sirus definitely have a lot of personal issues to work through. Fortunately, they not only found their soulmates in each other, but they also found the person who will help them heal and become happy in their lives once again. There was an interesting dynamic between these two physically powerful men that gave off huge sexual vibes....more

4.5 stars.
Passion galore with some very intense beautiful moments between Grey and Sirus, a shivers down your spine erotic romance both raw and tender. I couldn't help it, I had a soft spot for Grey he needed a bit of rough and he sure got it with Sirus, they both did actually and desperately. Loved this story so much, the slow sensual build and the emotional ups and downs a great mix of love and lust with a gorgeous couple of MC's. I wish we could have had a bit more at the end!

Wow, where to begin…

Grey’s Awakening is a pretty intense read. Past relationships, physical and emotional hurt, intolerance and learning to get through it all and move forward are huge themes in this book about Grey Cole, Kelsie’s brother from The Sweetest Tattoo and Sirus Wilder who is Kelsie’s close friend. These two men get off on the wrong foot when Gray shows up at his cabin and finds a gorgeous, very naked, Sirus there and jumps to the conclusion that his sister has set him up. And why not...more

When Grey Cole decides to get away to his cabin for a while he's looking forward to some alone time. What he gets when he walks in though is a nearly naked stranger in his living room.

Sirus Wilder's cabin is under repair and when his friend offers the use of her brother's cabin across the lake he takes her up on the offer. Neither man is expecting the surprise meeting so tensions run high between them.

Grey grudgingly allows Sirus to stay and as they spend together the men find themselves very...more

This was a very intense and damn hot read. I loved Sirus but I also kind of understood Grey's insecurities. Even though they came from totally different worlds, it was immediately clear they were meant for each other.
Like the previous book in the series, The Sweetest Tattoo, the sex scenes were off the charts hot but, in my opinion, the author does better in m/m. That quite long and highly gratifying scene where Grey learns how to enjoy bottoming was my favourite.
The ending was somewhat abrupt f...more

^^100% MALE!^^

I like Cameron because the men in the stories are always so manly and deep and bloody intense. I am gonna keep it short right now and try to sum this deeply emotional tale of two men, both with a past that have left them broken and unable to trust. For Greyson his childhood sucked and because he couldn't control what happened to him in childhood, he likes to control everything in his adult life. Sirus has been hurt by the man he loved because he refused to admit he was gay and wen...more

The powerful vigor of his fucking

What a ludicrous book! Ludicrous and hot! The closest thing to actual porn on the page I've read for a while, with a short HEA epilogue thrown in there to prove it's a real romance. I think there's a felching scene off-page, so a star for that!

Here's just three of my favourite lines:

...sending his rectum into a screeching series of contractions.

Grey's cock raged in his jeans.

The splash of semen hitting the floor sounded like a pressure-washer hitting siding

Greyson Cole needs to get out of Raleigh. Everywhere he turns, he sees people falling in love, getting married, and starting families. It’s enough to make a grown man want to rip out his own hair. And for a cynic like Grey, one more employee getting engaged signals the need for a long overdue vacation. Grey owns a cabin in the mountains that he has never even used, and he figures that’s just the ticket out of this nightmare of happily paired up couples.

I was expecting this to be a little cheesy based on the book description. Two men are stuck in a cabin for 2 weeks together. Neither one wants or is looking for love. Lust and chaos ensue. This is the second book in the Cabin Fever series, the first book being an M/F book with essentially the same plot - substitute the F for an additional M and you're off.

But okay, wow. This book was really quite good. I'm becoming a real Cameron Dane fan after reading about 5 of her books this weekend. Her bigg...more

Both Grey and Sirus have baggage and need a lot of work, especially Grey.
It was a rough ride for them both and maybe a bit much at times, but i was so glad when they finally got their act together and realized what they felt for each other.
(view spoiler)[I really wanted a little more of an ending, don't get me wrong, it was a great ending, but maybe one sex scene less in the middle and a bit more of their relationship at the end. (hide spoiler)]

I've read a few reviews and it seems I am in the minority because I liked Grey better than Sirus.

Sirus is more open and apparently more sincere, but I really liked Grey's passionate reserve. When they are together, they literally sizzle. There are a lot of ups and downs, but it's something to be expected since the two have their reasons to avoid bringing the attraction they feel for each other to a deeper level. Sirus surrenders to himself sooner than Grey and what he fights is the fear of reje...more

Hot. Very hot. Steeeaaammmmyyyyyyy . . . With a cute love story inside!

This author really knows how to write sex . . .

Sirus is a great character. Self supporting artist who takes the time to break down Greys defenses.
Grey shields himself from the world, trying to protect himself . . . Though it is sex that breaks down barriers, these two make a sweet couple you cant hepl but cheer for . . . Fun steamy read.

Well, it's official: my M/M romance cherry has been popped! ;-) Many of my GR friends read M/M romance and while I've read mainstream fiction books where main characters have same-sex relationships, I had never before read a romance (romance-romance) one. I didn't know what to expect, but I was also looking forward to potentially having a whole new sub-genre to explore.

I have always been fascinated by sexuality, gender, desire, etc. I studied it in college and these things are so complex, and th...more

What an excellent read, rich in character, story and smexy HOT! I love the way Sirus approaches and handles the demons from Grey's past, Sirus shows such compassion and insight when it comes to Grey and his emotions. The struggles and passion they go through makes their HEA all the better.

Greyson Cole is a successful venture capitalist who decides he needs to take a break from all the Happily Ever After that seems to be happening all around him. He decides to go up to his cabin on a lake and take two weeks of vacation, just to get away from it all. Unbeknownst to him, his twin sister has given the key to the cabin to her friend, Sirus Wilder, who lives across the lake, but has had a bathroom flood in his house and needs a place to stay for a few days.

After reading John & Kelsie’s story in the first book of this series, I couldn’t help pick this book up because I had to know what happened with Sirus. Before I write this review, I need a moment to fan myself. Ok, I’m ready now.

This is my first M/M book. EVER..and OHHH. MY. GOD! what an introduction! I was kind of thrown into a tailspin, but not in a bad way. In a *make me blush crimson* kind of way. I have to say that I don’t generally read erotica, to help gauge where my review is comi...more

Read this a while ago and having just read ' A Younger Man ' - the follow up book containing Noahs story - I felt it only fair to come back and review this one. Both are excellent reads in their own rights and do cross over into each other but I would have to say that of the two this one was probably more overt in its sexual attraction and tension. Boy, when Sirius and Grey get together its electric, and the sex is hot and heavy. Cameron Dane is one of those writers who really make you feel the...more

Not the typical reluctant bottom's mm romance tale, I enjoyed this book tremendously and it goes on my reread again and again list.

Well crafted with a balanced timing of incidents and emotional angst, both characters were a delight to inhabit and were truly complimentary to each other. Great individuals make for an even greater couple and I was rooting for these two from the beginning.

Loving Grey initially for his unflinching appraisal of himself and his right to be unyielding in his choice of...more

This is my first book by Cameron Dane and I really liked it. Greyson Cole is taking a vacation because everyone he knows is happily paired up and he isn’t. Because of a dramatic past he feels unable to commit and fully love, this took a toll on his last relationship which ended badly three years ago. Upon arriving to his cabin in the mountains he finds himself “face to naked chest” with Sirus Wilder. Sirus is a longtime friend of Grey’s sister and is...more

Wow, where to start. This book was frickin amazing. From start to finish I was enthralled by this book and stayed there until the end. When you hear a book is hot, you might not believe it. But trust me this book was HOT! And I'm not even blushing about it. I was a tiny bit skeptical in the beginning, but God, I enjoyed reading this.

Grey and Sirus met in such a funny way. I was laughing my ass of at the beginning and I was frustrated by the end of the first chapter. Looking for sexual tension in...more

Greyson Cole had a difficult childhood, but he was smart and responsible, and found a way to get himself and his twin sister out of an abusive home and have a good life. He found his estranged grandmother at 9 years old through a phone book in the library, and asked her to come take them away from his neglectful parents. And she did. He found a loving home, a passion for pairing ideas and investments, and after college started an uber successful venture capitalist firm with his best fr...more

This is the second book in Dane's Cabin Fever series. It's about Grey, who decides to escape his life for a few weeks by taking a vacation in his lakeside cabin and Sirus, who owns the cabin across the lake and happens to be standing nearly naked in Grey's cabin when he arrives. Sirus' cabin is under construction and he planned on staying in Grey's until he could return to his home but Grey has a problem with letting his guard down and being personal with people. Something, however, makes Grey i...more

Grey's Awakening is a smokin' hot m/m romance. I'm new to m/m romance genre so I don't have a point of reference as to what is good and what isn't. I read one previous m/m romance and thought that it was just okay. It didn't knock my socks off or anything; but then I figured it was because I was a girl and the book was a male romance. When I started reading Grey's Awakening, I immediately did not like Grey. I thought he was a stuck up, obnoxious, self-absorbed prick. He really needed to get over...more

I glad to see that the second in this series was so better than the first. Such a big improvement and I'm pleased that I gave this a chance. Cameron Dane does M/F brilliantly in some cases as suck in the 'ultimate kink'

These men both don't want attachments and then fall in too deep before they realize that they have. It's very pleasing to watch.

A top choice in MM romance. These are two *men* and it shows. They can be gritty, rough, and the play hard. It's positively thrilling to read because the intensity of it means the emotions it brings out in the reader are all the more powerful. Great dialogue, intriguing characters with flaws, and a story that propels you along make this a favorite!

Greyson Cole is a successful venture capitalist who goes to his rarely used mountain cabin for a much needed vacation. Upon arrival, Grey is surprised by Sirus Wilder, a friend of Grey's twin sister (Kelsie). Sirus had gotten permission from Kelsie to stay in the cabin while his residence across the lake is under repair. Grey lets Sirus share the cabin for a few days and sparks immediately fly. Problem: Grey doesn’t believe in love, has no patience for relationships, and refuses to get...more
