So I think I might be more into the BD part than the SM part of “BDSM”. This book is all about the SM part. The Dark Garden is about Rowan, who likes to be in control at all times. She is like this because of a past hurt when she tried to be a submissive person. Christian is also a Dom and feels that Rowan really is a sub and needs to show her the truth about herself. I did not care for the plot of psychological wounds causing the heroine to go back and forth denying her feelings and the truth.

This was one of those books that totally killed any ability to do housework. I could not put this book down. It grabbed me from the first chapter and I was hooked.
I saw myself in Rowan's shoes more than I saw her. I was drawn that deeply into the story, and I think I identified with the character on such a multitude of levels.

Without the external distractions, I could've finished this in one sitting. Eden Bradley has fast become one of my favorite authors of erotica, and while the theme is BDSM, most of the story didn't revolve around it.

Wow this was seriously erotic, seriously potent and very graphic in the bedroom. Would like to give it 3.5 stars
Quite liked this story. It all wound up a bit too tidily at the end. Would have liked for one of the relationships NOT to have ended up HEA- which is more a Romance genre thing (I think).
I did enjoy the smexy sex scenes and I did enjoy the two stories running side by side- though sometimes it was a bit of a shock when you were in the frame of mind of one couple then you were catapulted over to the other couple.

The only thing that kept me from giving this novel five stars was that other than having to realize that he'd fallen in love, the hero is not shown attaining any growth in his character.

One word: delicious! This book is basically a romance novel with full-on naughty bits. Like a bar of good dark chocolate, or a glass of red wine, it's the perfect mood enhancer. I read it one sitting. If you're looking for a hard-edged BDSM story, keep looking, this isn't the one. But if you're looking for something hot and sweet to snuggle up to on a dark and stormy night, zing!

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to those who like erotic romance with BDSM in them. This story is about two couples and their respective storylines are woven throughout the story. The romance progresses nicely and contains smoking hot sex scenes. The author's style lets the telling of the story flow very smoothly too.

This author has an amazing talent for imagery in her writing and writes about the BDSM lifestyle with a knowledge that lifestylers will respect. Refreshing to pick up a novel about D/s and know that the author is familiar with the inner workings of such relationships. Far beyond the "fluff" BDSM so many write. A definite author to read if you are in the lifestyle!

This book just didn't grab me. It was ok, just not really something that pulled me in. I couldn't really get into the characters very much. Despite the fact that there was a lot of inner turmoil, things just felt superficial to me.
