I actually liked this one a lot more than the first one. True that this series is a lot like the Twilight series. But the Twilight series didn't have the whole stalker thing? For some reason, I like the stalker thing. Unlike last time, I totally didn't know that it was blankity blank who was the stalker. Surprise, surprise, surprise...

There is just something about this series that makes me plow through the books like there is no tomorrow. Camelia is far from my favorite main character out of the books I've read, though her little back up team, Kimmie and Wes are some of my favorite side-kick characters. They're both very interesting and quirky, and Wes reminds me a lot of Adam from the Mediator series by Meg Cabot and I LOVE Adam in that series.
Anyway, this book was thrilling, though not as spine-tingling as the More...

This book definitely had me spooked, especially since I would read it at night alone in my apartment. Once again, Camelia is being stalked. There are eerie messages and phone calls to leave the reader guessing as to the culprit's identity. And there are some really good twists--such as the journal entries we get. I have to say that the journal entries were one of the most intriguing parts of the story. They really added to the overall mystery of the book and gets you excited for the next one. So

Deadly Little Lies, the sequel to the first book in the series, Deadly Little Secret, definitely lives up to its promise of more suspense, romance and plot twists. Laurie Faria Stolarz really knows how to construct an elaborate plot to flow with such ease, and continuously keep you on the edge of your seat with the mystery and romance of the narrative. Starting a few months after Ben leaves Camelia's life, the story immediately takes off with a burst of heart pounding action that just keeps on r

his book was so much better than the first. The mystery and intrigue gets better and better throughout the book, and towards the end I had no idea who was the bad guy. Camelia is still being secretive with her parents, some thing I'd hoped she'd get over. But her parents have enough on their plate with Aunt Alexia being in hospital, then wanting to meet with Camelia's mum finally.
Kimmie and Wes prove to be true friends still but I was surprised how little they helped Camelia out. Apart from More...

Ben has been out of Canelia's life for the past few months but he has never been far from her thoughts. However, along with her broken heart Camilia has been dealing with some very strange occurrences. This has led Camelia to wonder if it is at all possible that Ben's gift of psychometry could of been somehow transferred to herself, the alternative being that she going crazy. But at this point she is not sure which is worse.

Some Deadly Little Secret (Touch Book 1) spoilers, so be cautious.
At the end of the first Touch series, mysterious loner Ben was leaving town after saving Camelia from her stalker ex, who planned the old "You will grow to love me" kidnapping ploy. To her credit, Camelia doesn't pull a Bella Swan and go completely catatonic.
A lot of focus in Deadly Little Lies is on Camelia's sudden development of psychometric powers of her own. She's doing psychic sculptures, w More...

The book Deadly Little Lies is a sequel of the book Deadly Little Secret. The book leaves off with Camelia and her friends in the beginning of the story. After Ben had left, she begins to research Ben's "power" called Psychometry. When Ben and Camelias' relationship begin to take the next step, she decides to break it off with him because he was avoiding any contact with her. Then, Camelia meets a new guy named Adam at her job. They begin dating and started to get closer with each othe

I first came across this when searching the internet looking for my next read and this is what I came across. I really enjoyed the first in the series Deadly Little Secret and this is the second one. I loved how the book carries on from the first book really well, I found it really easy to get back into the story after taking a little while to get round to reading this installment.
I loved the character of Camelia as she seemed like she was still not over what had happened previously a More...

**Spoiler**I gave this 2 stars. It was okay. It appeals to me that Camelia is an artist working in clay and that she has a budding talent in that arena. She is still having difficulty getting over Ben (in an angst of emotion regarding him). She tries to move on by becoming involved with this college student, Adam, who is new in their town and happens to work at "Kneads" Pottery shop where she works part time. So, there is that love triangle with Camelia, Ben and Adam but for some reaso

Since this is my second time reading one of Stolarz's books, I was pretty acquainted with her type of writing. Yet, she continues to amaze me with her use of adjectives and creative writing style--descriptive, but not too detailed. The tale was alluring. I couldn't get enough.
The writing was unbelievable--as was the plot line. Stolarz adds her own special touch to the often used love triangle, throwing secretive pasts and mysterious lies into play. I was captivated throughout. The ch More...

For this book, i have five rules. Number 1: Trust no one. Number 2: Don't make any assumptions. Number 3: Try not to scream. Number 4: Don't believe anyone. And Number Five: Stolarz kicks ass.
I was blown away by this novel, even more so than by Deadly Little Secret. It sucks you in from the first page, and is very difficult to put down until the end. Stolarz was fabulous at displaying Camelia's fears, and that made the book even easier to get into. The story starts off with act More...

The story is the second installment in Stolarz's touch series and it was a nice, interesting read. We're introduced to Camelia again trying to live life after the horrific incident that happened to her a few months back (read Deadly Little Secrets) and the fact that Ben left. Soon things start to turn interesting while Camelia works on her pottery and starts to hear voices and sees things. Then Ben comes back into her life and the tension begins with them fighting their feelings for each o

I enjoyed Deadly Little Secrets just as much as the first book. It had just enough suspense to keep you guessing (but not the type of suspense I'd really call scary) and of course drama and romance. Throwing a budding romance with new guy Adam into the mix and another stalker kept things interesting. I love how the other conveyed so much nervous-awkward tension between Camelia and Ben. The whole book you can't wait got the tension to break and for them to just give into their feelings for each o

I was first introduced to Laurie Faria Stolarz in the Blue is for Nightmares series. The first book in the series I was only lukewarm about. The second, I enjoyed more, and I'm looking forward to finishing up that series (especially since the rest of the books are in a pile on my office floor). Based on a student recommendation, I picked up the Touch series. Wow! That's all I can say. These novels are unputdownable. (And I really like that my students are usually right about good YA - Twilight b

Pasted from an angry Facebook comment that I posted:
She put a nice twist in there with the Ben/Adam thing, I must say. Though I kind of suspected something along those lines.
Other than that I have to rely on the suspense to keep going because the dialogue is SO BAD I WANT TO DIE. Kimmie and Wes get more insufferable every page, as does Ben and Adam and her mom (Strike while the iron is hot) and dad and Alexia's diary entries, as well as her teachers and Spencer. I really like this series and I really like this author. I'm excited to see that she has more books other than this series. Woohoo!
Camelia (for what ever reason it is soooo hard for me to say that name in my head, i usually end up calling her Cam) is not a typical teen, she is a lot more strong willed and not as 'run with the masses' or fluffy headed as a lot of the teens I have ended up having the misfortune of reading about. Okay, so I was supposed to finish Darcy and Fitzwilliam first before starting to read this one. But I was tempted, and I'm sure you know how mortals are prone to temptation, so... please forgive me, Mr. and Mrs. Darcy?
Deadly Little Lies is the sequel of one of my favourite books, Deadly Little Secret. I had high expectations for it, but the story kind of fall short for me, because the plot was more or less the same as the first book, only with a different villain.

I never knew I would enjoy teen romance/mystery books. Apparently I do! This is the second book in the Touch Novel Series by Stolarz. Again, I have not read the Twilight Series (and am not planning on doing so) but many people compare the Touch Novels to Twilight. This book is so suspenseful and keeps you guessing all the time. I haven't had this feeling for a long time, that I had the urge to pick up this book whenever I get a minute. I remember the last 30 pages or so, I was laying in bed and

Eh this book was ok. There just isn't much climax in it. You have all these creepy pranks leading up and your waiting for some freaky guy to come attack her and she ends up finding out it's just a ticked off girl from school. Not much of a plot compaired to the 1nd one. But I did kinda liked the love triangle going on, although it seems like the relationship between camilia and ben is kinda like the Bella and Edward thing. All about an unrealistic need. So I was kinda hoping shed go with Adam. B

Deadly Little Lies is the second book in the Touch Series and the follow up to Deadly Little Secrets. The story begins when Camelia feels like Ben's gift has been transferred to her but is that really possible? Also we find out more about aunt Alexia, which gives us more insight into Camelia and her mom. Camelia also starts getting photos and prank calls which make her feel like her stalker is back or someone is playing pranks on her. This brings in all the mystery action that makes the book

This book series has become my guilty pleasure. I want to read it any chance I get! I'm always curious about what lies around the corner, and who is doing these things to Camelia? I was surprised to find out who it was, but also a little disappointed. Adam was not a surprise to me. I'm still waiting for Camelia to get over her wishy-washy feelings about Ben. Obviously, she's confused, but she needs to decide whether or not she really trusts him. I feel bad for Ben throughout the entire book. The

This one was much better than the first one, though I still found Camelia a tad annoying and a bit self absorbed at times. Ignoring Ben consistently when he was trying to speak with her and be civil grated on my nerves occasionally.
I thought this book was better written and the plot was more developed. We didn't need to go through all of the introductions and the author did to some back-story, but it wasn't annoying. Camelia's friends were probably the best part for me - I loved thei More...
